Google - Pixel 3A XL with 64GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) Purple-ish

It's fine. Good camera. I have the light purple one. I get compliments on it because the back of my case is clear. It is a decent phone but things like the speaker are trash. Also there's issues with the messaging app. I have learned to live with the operating system issues but I used to go to the Google forums for my other Google phones. I find they always have unique issues. Very annoying.

I personally really love the Google pixel xl 3. I went from using iPhones to this. It is great because it's user-friendly after about a week of using it. You can customize pretty much anything on the phone. I really love that it has a screen caller option - So basically if a scammer or an unknown number is calling you you can screen them and Google will answer the phone for you and talk to them. You get a transcript of what they're saying in real time and you can decide to answer the phone or you can actually tell Google to stop calling and take them off their list! It's great because I don't have to deal with scammers. It's like having a Google device and you need the palm of your hand. It takes the most amazing pictures and has the best picture quality. I love it's night sight mode because I can take low lighting photos and they still turn out amazing!!!

I got this phone because it seemed like a great option for the price and all the specs, and I was really looking forward to the quality of the camera since I really a lot of pictures and videos of my family. However, I was really disappointed. The phone was a bit slow at times but nothing too bad, that I could deal with given the much lower price than a lot of phones these days, but the camera quality, which was so hyped up, was not very good in my opinion. The lighting was always so awful and I'd have to constantly brighten it before taking a picture, but even if I locked in that setting, the minute I moved the camera even slightly it unlocked and I had to redo it again. It got really frustrating when trying to take pictures mainly of my toddler who doesn't sit ... MoreI got this phone because it seemed like a great option for the price and all the specs, and I was really looking forward to the quality of the camera since I really a lot of pictures and videos of my family. The quality of the pictures was not at all what I was expecting and I just got a new Samsung phone that was actually cheaper than the Google pixel 3axl and I love it so much more, it has a MUCH better camera too! I wouldn't recommend the Google pixel 3aXL

Amazingly fast, crisp clear, clear, color popping display, with next to no bloateware. Best device I've ever used!

After reading some of the other reviews I felt I should provide my own. My pre ious phone which was purchased out of necessity was a Samsung J7. Anyone who reviewed this Pixel 3aXL as the worst phone ever has not used the J7. I have always been a Samsung Fan especially the Note series, however, I was so tired of the terrible J7 I got this Pixel. Simply put, this Pixel is one of the best phones I've ever had. This phone does take a little getting used to but the learning curve is quite quick and easy. I am amazed by the speed of this phone. Apps load incredibly fast, no lag, no slow down. The screen and colors are crystal clear and vibrant. Someone wrote that the colors were dull, however if you have the blue light filter turned on, turn off the adaptive brightness and set the colors under advanced to adaptive, and turn the brightness up, the colors will pop, and be extremely vibrant. The contrast betwee colors is truly amazing.Everything about this phone, in my opinion, just to rocks. The only reason that I did not give the phone 5 stars is because the battery certainly does not last near as long as it suggests it should and I find myself having to plug it in more frequently then I should, however the quick charger allows for a very short charge time so the turn around is quick. The other possible reasonmay be because there is no way to replace the battery, however in today's throw away society, most people are getting rid of their phones and getting the latest and greatest new phone. In that regard its likely that people will be getting a new phone before the battery will ever need replacing..For the low price of this phone capared the others this phone is just amazing. The Octa- ore processor and 4GB DDR4 kicks #&&!By far the best phone in terms of speed, screen quality, and usability are top of the line. Another really nice feature of the Pixel is the lack of bloateware you find on most phones. Usually the phone manufacturer will load the phone with junk apps and the carrier will force their apps on to their phones. If I recall correctly Sprint has only placed 1 app on the device and that is the My Sprint App to manage your account and pay your bill (and the ability to upgrade and or buy a new phone) that's it. No bloat where what do ever. Infact you can ever remove some of the Google apps if there are apps you don't want to use. Your not forced to keep apps you do t want and waste space on your device..I do believe I am a new fan of the Google Pixel Phones and should I upgrade to a new phone, I do believe without question I would get another Pixel. If you have never tried a Pixel, I urge you to check out a Pixel, as I believe e you will fall for the Google Pixel as I have!

Bought Phone to use Ubuntu Touch OS, phone is carrier unlocked had good battery and zero ghosting or scratches. The bootloader is also open! 5 stars!

Product arrived 17 days earlier then Ebay predicted even after crossing an international boarder very nice. It's condition is excellent - if not for a small sticky material from the owners previous phone case I would have said it looked brand new (material easily rubbed off). The screen is shadow less and there is not a scratch on it. Phone arrived unlocked from any carrier and I was easily able to Flash the Ubuntu Touch operating system onto the device. (though I felt a little bad about that because the android that came pre installed looked clean af) After replacing the OS I plugged in my SIM and calling worked perfectly (Even had 4G yay! [btw I know that sounds dumb but my previous phone did not have 4G]). I got many email updates from the Ebay and the buyer and felt very looked after when I saw that the package came with a return sticker free of charge. Easiest 5 stars of my life.

Good phone, but new? Not sure. Beware network lock.

The phone itself is great, I primarily bought this for the free backup feature for Google Photos. The package has clearly been opened before as the stickers on the side were yellowed and wrinkled, and there was no shrink wrap on the box, so it's hard to assess if this is truly a brand new phone. Battery life is not quite what I expected, but it's adequate. The phone was locked to Verizon (for 60 days apparently) which I did not expect as I thought all Pixels were sold unlocked. I was able to remove the network lock by enabling developer options and using the Android SDK Toolkit, you can find a walkthrough for this on YouTube.

Great Phone.

Its true what the technical reviews say, it's a great value for the cost. I've had it almost a month now. Device speed is great. I'm not doing anything too resource consuming to a great degree. I use my phone for maps, music, occasional video and it handles it all very smoothly and battery life lasts me a full waking day. I do recommend downloading Sprint Visual voicemail or something to that nature. Out of the box, it would not notify me of any voicemails. Had to also download Sprint Carrier Hub to go along with the voicemail program. Otherwise, great product. I must admit that I was hesitant at first to commit to this phone. I previously had purchased a 1st Gen. Pixel that suffered from a common well known manufacturers defect and had a bad taste about Google ... MoreIts true what the technical reviews say, it's a great value for the cost. I previously had purchased a 1st Gen. Pixel that suffered from a common well known manufacturers defect and had a bad taste about Google since that. It was an excellent phone as well but apparently Google nowadays is sending people refurbished phones to consumers after they've just purchased new phones, and they've had issues. Anyways, I'm not all that impressed or excited about all glass bodies for phones. Seems like a sure fire way to get device turnover even quicker than the tech trends are moving. Not to mention, I'm not the best in making sure my phone doesn't fall and break, so polycarbonate instead of glass is appealing to me.

Pixel 3a XL is X-tra Cool!

My daughter has a Google Pixel 3a phone. She recently took some pictures on our vacation and sent them to me. There were amazing! I asked if she had Photoshopped them or enhanced them. She said, "Nope, they are straight out of the phone." So, I bought a Google Pixel 3a XL phone. It's got a great camera! I was formerly taking pictures with an older former-top-of-the-line Canon EOS 5D digital camera with a red ring lens ($3000 new), and this Pixel 3a XL phone takes better pictures. It has a better depth of field, and it does HDR type processing to lighten up the dark areas and darken the light areas for a more uniform exposure. See my lattice apple pie pictures and car pictures for sample Pixel 3a XL photos. The Google Pixel 6 phone/camera is available now, but for a ... MoreMy daughter has a Google Pixel 3a phone. Sithandazile's review of Google Pixel 3a XL 64GB

Pros: Battery lifeCons: 1. Photos - despite storing photos on Google drive, when deleting on device it also delete on drive?.There were also times when I took several pictures and when I checked later there was no evidence of such on the phone, the pictures just disappeared into thin air.2. The phone does not takes pictures underwater despite using a water proof phone protector, the camera goes off as soon as phone is submerged3. The phone overheats easily and freezes so on a recent hot vacation, I couldn't use it, it I had to constantly wait for it to cool down4. On a recent trip, it stopped charging and this had a negative impact especially because I couldn't take any pictures. On a recent trip, it stopped charging and this had a negative impact especially because I couldn't take any pictures. The charger now works but only on one side and this started when the phone was less that 6 months old. When I contacted Google, they advised rebooting the phone which would have meant losing the few pictures I had.5. Though they rave about the picture quality, the latest iPhone is actually better. This was my first Android device and I have regreted it from about the 6 weeks.6. Sound quality could be improved.

Worst phone ever purchased

The worst phone I ever buy in my life..I buy this phone only for camera and camera is ok for some instant but In just one year's I am faced lot of issue 1) sudden black screen 2) it got hanged many times automatic on and off 3) charging issue. I had to repair the charging circuit of this phone and it costed me 5k 4) and finally yesterday I again faced black screen .
