Serves as a perfect introduction to the enthusiast mechanical keyboard universe. One tiny gotcha for the keycaps - the 3 modifier keys to the right of the space bar are 1u (same size as the alphanum chars) rather than the 1.25u (left alt, win, ctrl) you're probably used to from other keyboards, you might have to improvise and chuck some numpad keys on those while you find some suitable stand-ins. This won't be a problem when the official v2 keycaps are launched/available but at the time of writing they're not out yet so i'm slumming it with some numpad keys from the regular GMMK keycap set to plug the gaps.Pairs wonderfully with Gateron Blues for top clack.

The stabilizers are overlubed as mentioned by other reviews, youtubers, redditors etc. Although Glorious claims only a small number of units have this problem, I believe that is not true. I would advice to clean out the excess lube from the stabs first before putting the switches. I didn't check until it was too late and I couldn't be bothered to disassemble the whole thing to clean the stabs so I just put some o rings so that the switches wont reach the bottom and thus not stick. Other than those horribly overlubed stabs, this keyboard is great. It's heavy, it feels premium. It sounds great and feels great with the linear switches I've put on them. I really just wish this came out with real white instead of silver.

Pretty excellent in general. Feels and sounds great (NK Cream switches). Full QMK support means you can customize the software to the greatest possible extent. Stabilizers aren't great — mine were over-lubed (at the start, the spacebar and other stabilized keys would sometimes stick down), but they do seem to be improving as I type on them. There's also some official doc on how to clean them up if this doesn't happen naturally. Additionally, depending on the switch, sometimes it can be hard to remove them after insertion (NK Cream seems to be particularly bad here. Every other switch I tested came out pretty easily). So I replaced them with Durock V2 stabilizers--WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The Durock V2s sound and feel wonderful. My spacebar is now buttery smooth and snappy as can be! Unfortunately, I had to disassembly everything to the core again just to replace the stabs, but I am glad that I did. So, like the title say, this is a great foundation for a build. But plan on replacing the stabilizers out of the gate and go with 3rd party accessories.
This keyboard is a joy to type on. I paired it with kailh box white switches and the glorious aura V2 kaycaps. I've been using an Anne pro 2 keyboard for the last few months, but the lack of a function row and dedicated arrow buttons were driving me nuts. I think 75% is the perfect size for a keyboard for any gamer that doesn't need a numpad. The body and faceplate are all metal, making it the heaviest keyboard I've ever used, and there is no flex. The stabilizers we're a little sticky at first, but they were fine after a couple days of use. The only gripe I have with the physical design is the south facing LEDs. If you use your keyboard in the dark there is almost no light shining through the legends on the keycaps. It's made even worse with pudding style keycaps ... MoreThis keyboard is a joy to type on. I ended up putting tealios v2 switches in this and had lubed with 205g0 and it sounds amazing I'm quite pleased with the overall build. So this review isn't a reason not to buy it, it's just a precaution to those who are entering the hobby and were going to mod the board.
First of all, ignore the deceptive article name of "GMMK Pro (DE, cable)" currently used. This is the barebones ISO configuration of this keyboard, meaning it's good for CH as well as DE, FR and many other layouts. This thing is *extremely* solid, and surprisingly heavy. Everything is supplied cleanly and clearly, and there is plenty of online info about this model for those who are starting out assembling a mechanical keyboard. I built this up with Glorious Pandas (lubing them myself and re-lubing the GMMK Pro's stabilizers for good measure). Finished it with Keychron PBT key caps in CH configuration, also from Digitec. Despite having to work around a few flaws in the QMK Toolbox system, I got a workable result in the end. There is extensive information on the QMK site and GitHub, but that goes way beyond what someone with no programming experience will be able to work with. I'd have given it five stars if the final config stage had been less frustrating.
Truly excellent keyboard - the case, plate and base are properly industrial - this is solid, heavy and well-machined. Internally, tolerances are exellent, and the gaskets, plate and case align perfectly. This thing is indestuctable - archeologists will be digging them up in 500 years. Glorious Core (downlaodable) gives good options for config, and if you want to go really deep down the customisaing rabbithole, it's QMK firmware compatible as well. The supplied USB cable is surprisingly good quality, braided and has good-quality connectors. My only niggle (and hence not a perfect 10.0) - Stabliser lube......why? The stabs are covered in gunk, and (before you assemble anything!) you need to separate the pcb, pull the stablisers, and clean/relube them. You also need to clean the crud off the pads on the PCB under the stabs) If you don't, they will stick down, and you don't want that after installing the switches (trust me!!). That said, the stabs are excellent, screwed on the PCB, and work incredibly well (once sticky-lube-free!). It's a shame Glorious just did'ntt leave them dry..... The other point to note is that the switches and SMD LEDs are South oriented - if you love your RGB, and backlit keycaps, this can be limiting, as most PBT doubleshot keycaps rely on the LED being at the top of the key, not the bottom. Pudding caps work well, or just buy a desk lamp :D I love this keyboard - it's now fitted with Glorious Panda switches and Tai-Hao keycaps and it works beautifully - brilliant tactile feel from the pandas, and a properly staisfying, deep thunk to the keys.Final shout to Overclockers for service - ordered this lot on a Saturday afternoon, got it on Sunday lunchtime. 10/10 for that - brilliant as always.
