Not cheap, but chosen by my daughter as a 15th birthday present and we got 15% off with an online code. She's so pleased with them. They look great and are so much better than my straighteners that she was using before. They seem much kinder/gentler -- her long hair looks stunningly silky smooth after using them and in great condition. The straighteners should last well too. Very pleased! Worth the investment.

My original ghds died over 2 years ago....after 7 years of use! They were the best present back then! But after having a baby my hair was not a priority anymore. My mother in law asked me what I wanted for Xmas & I said money towards ghds again. So come cyber Monday I bought them with my "xmas" money!Omg I turned them on to make sure they worked and they haven't gone back in the box! They are a NOW present not a Xmas present. I'm in love! I've been able to curl and straighten my hair with ease! I've never had past shoulder length hair before and I didn't notice it's almost waist length (always in a bun for work so didn't notice) it's perfect for my hair! Didn't realise how technology has improved...even on straighteners! I love them!

Ordered this product from gas which claimed to give a free brush with it but when ordered and used my nhs discount which is nothing to do with ghd they wrote back saying we cannot give you a brush because you have used a discount, there is no mention anywhere in the advertised product. I wrote to customer support and they absolutely refused considering what a big company it is and for a brush which costs a few pounds they said no . My daughter who was looking forward to the gift as it was her first product from ghd was disappointed. I was about to purchase another more premium product from ghd but because of such poor customer service I have purchased DYSON instead and will not be buying this brand in the future because of how the company operates .

This is the 4th pair of he GHD Gold I have had to buy. They seem to last about 2 years and 3 months, so just out of warranty and then break. However, unlike the original GHDs they really don't repair well. I still have the original GHDs i bought about 18 years ago and they still work but the plates are all scored so this is why I keep getting new ones. These straighteners do a great job on my hair but honestly I wish I had the nerve to try a different brand. The problems seemed to have occurred when L'Oréal started making the straighteners. I honestly don't know if I would recommend the GHD straighteners now, whereas in years past I wouldn't have hesitated to recommend them

I purchased the gold straighteners as a treat to myself as they were recommended by my hairdresser. They did not disappoint ! They glide through the hair with ease and make it super shiney. The only negative comment to this review is the colour. As they were called ‘apricot’ I expected them to be a much softer colour but they are definitely neon orange. The little storage bag is very useful for keeping them clean and tidy. On the plus side, very bright and not easy to misplace.Excellent quality - love them !
I bought my Ghds a few weeks ago, I’ve always had Ghds, been using them since I was about 15 (16 years ago!) I’ve had all different ones the thick ones, rose gold and a couple of the classics. I can honestly say they have never failed me and this pair is no different, really easy to use, sleek design and safe. The straightness are amazing!I’m just slightly disappointed as when I ordered I was given a free gift of a hair brush but it never came with the straighteners 😣 I know is a free gift but was just looking forward to having it to add to my ghd collection!
I bought Ghd Gold Hair Straightener a few weeks ago. I had heard a lot of good words about GHD indeed. Couldn't say it is not true. My straightener is relatively good, but every good thing has its own negative sides. I thought Gold would be the perfect size of hair straightener for me, but it turns out to be smaller than I thought. I did'nt wanted to buy GHD max because it seemed to me that it would be bigger than the normal size of hair straighteners. To conclude my review, the item is good, but small for my hair. It takes a lot of time to straighten my hair because of the small plates, even though I have thin hair. Thank you for asking me for a review.
I bought this about a month ago but only used it for the first time yesterday, and man oh man was I impressed! I have not owned a GHD in about 10 years. My straightener recently broke and I realized my hair was the healthiest when I owned a GHD years ago. It is a bit smaller than I expected but my hair has not looked this great in a while. It is super shiny and sleek. Together with the GHD heat spray, my hair looks full of life and feels great! The colour is a bonus! I have thick hair and I would definitely recommend.

The straighteners were sold with a free brush worth £26 I think. Then an offer appeared for a discount of £26, therefore I felt the straightners would be £26 less and I would get the brush as well, which I felt was a good deal. When they arrived the brush was not included. When I rang to discuss I was told you didn’t get both offers, one or the other. Which means the brush is not free ! You can get a discount or a brush, therefore if you choose the brush, you pay £26 more than you would pay if you didn’t have the brush. That’s not free .
