GearWrench 83166 Adjustable Height Mobile Work Table 35" to 48"

The assembly is a bit awkward and requires some manipulation based on the design of the two legs fasteners to have the system sit level. I used a level and assembled on a level floor to get it to sit on all for castor wheels. The bolts used for mounting the "legs" are too short and could easily be 1/4 inch longer to allow more efficient assembly given the lock washer takes up space and it is difficult to start the thread. Otherwise I would give it a 4 star. The height adjustment is a bit crude but all in all the table meets its purpose and supports a lot of tools/parts.

The Gearwrench adjustable height work table is great. While working on my boat or truck, I am able to roll this over to place tools, filters and other items on the table making my life easier. It's much better than placing stuff on the floor. Love It! The only thing I don't like is that the table height could be done with a faster release. Right now it is a bolt. I will be looking to retro-fit a faster release and lock to ajust the height quicker.

This is well made and sturdy, adjustable and relatively easy to build, and it rolls easily. I'm very pleased with how it works for me - though, as others have mentioned, I had to 'adjust' the plate connecting the tabletop to its post. It looks like the weld heat caused some warping, I had to put it in a vise and pound down (or was it up) the four edges of the plate to make it flat or the bolts wouldn't line up properly. A straight edge showed the warping and the direction to adjust it.

I bought a used returned one that someone was complaining about the table being bent. I just quickly bent it back to shape and enjoyed getting the table for about 50% off. Recently, I've been using the table to keep my soldering supplies on it while I'm working around my shop doing wiring repairs and I'm very pleased with it! The table can take plenty of abuse. Everything lines up fine, its not wobbly. Ignore the bad reviews, or just wait until someone returns one and pick it up for cheap.

Overall I love this table. It's solid enough but got dinged to high heavens making the assembly a challenge. Packaging of the table left something to be desired. Apart from that I think it'll last as long as I paint it in something where I had to "modify" it back to square. If you can pick it up in person and verify it's in one piece definitely go that route.

Phenomenal table, had a few rolling work tables before and they definitely can’t compare. I use this daily for light duty jobs. Huge perk being able to adjust the height and roll over the engine bay of a vehicle, also makes brake jobs 10x easier having a spacious table to set parts and tools. Definitely holds up to shop use day in day out. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Initially, I thought I would use this mobile work table primarily for placing tools and parts on while performing a task. However, the portable work surface is so convenient, like a portable work bench, that I use it more for that purpose. GEARWRENCH has made the unboxing of its products extremely easy. There are two straps round the box. Just cut the straps and the top of the box may be easily removed. The assembly is easy but does take a while because of the number of parts. A 12mm wrench is needed for assembling the stand; a 10mm wrench and Phillips screwdriver are needed for installing the handle and bumpers. It is made in China. It has a one-year limited warranty.

This work table will do just as you expect it to as long as you don't intend to adjust the height a lot. It was easy to put together, but it does have a few imperfections where the paint is chipped out of the box. Additionally, one of the plastic end caps on the metal tubes near the casters easily fell out. I accidentally kicked it with my foot and it fell out. The table itself is not anywhere near level, though I don't think it really needs to be, and weight on the table will probably bend it a bit anyway. To adjust the height, you have to hold the full weight of the table up at the appropriate height and screw in the pin. The adjustment is 100% configurable, but to be totally secure, you will want to screw this in tight enough to put an indentation into the post. This, of course, could impact your ability to make slight adjustments to the height. It might make the setup a bit more difficult, but I would've preferred a system of holes to put a pin through to adjust the height.Despite the manufacturer imperfections, I feel most users will set the height on this and mostly forget it while they enjoy using the table and working on their work things. Therefore I'm giving this 4 stars.

Easy to assemble, easy to adjust the height, super easy to move around. This table is ridiculously handy and I needed something like this on so many projects in the past. Use it for parts, tools, doing assembly, or supporting large pieces of wood when using the table saw. I know my wife is going to want to borrow it to help with the holiday season baking. You can even choose to assemble the handle above the cart top or below it. It has small parts trays on the side and a row of eight holes for wrenchs, screwdrivers or other tools.

The mobile work table from GearWrench is easy to assemble. It's very sturdy and smooth rolling. I did have a couple of assembly issues. Initially there was a problem with the rollers not level. I fixed this by loosening all eight bolts that hold the legs to the crossbar and letting the table level out. I then retightened all the bolts and it's fine now. The other problem was with the plastic corner protectors. They are a nice touch but the cutouts for the closeout plugs are not big enough for the plugs to fit flush. I should note that the closeout plugs for the handle fit perfectly flush. This is a minor issue in my mind.
