I will start by saying I am not a big gear wrench fan at all, with that said, this is a nice set of large combo wrenches. I needed these for a project I was doing and did not have wrenches this big. No damage to tool, no rounding off on the tool or bolts/nuts, no damage to finish. These are of good quality and for the price I paid they were definitely worth it. The roll up pouch is actually pretty decent quality as well, heavy enough material and rings to be able to stretch it tight and hang up and it stays in tact. Not usually one to recommend these guys but for this product I say go for it, I cant really think of one bad thing I could say about this set

Pretty good value for money. Great if your just starting out. Im a tech of 16 years. Needed a cheep set for a second job. Some of the open ends get a bit weird in the smaller sizes. Big wrenches seem good fit. Good for alignments. But they donāt have the knuckle savers of the snap on flank drive plus. But thatās 550$ for 20-24mm size (5 wrenches) wrenches. So yeah thereās a trade off. But Iām not disappointed with them. They serve a purpose of kitting yourself out cheep. So all in all. They do the job. Make you money with a lower overhead cost.

Wow.. I'm a shadetree mechanic and I typically buy middle of the road or budget tools (think Kobalt/Harbor Freight/etc.). I didn't want some crappy wrench set that skipped sizes, so I thought I'd try this GearWrench set since the price seemed fair for the number of wrenches, especially when compared to the competition. I thought at this price, I'd get "OK" wrenches. I was wrong. THESE THINGS ROCK! I'm not a professional technician -- I'm a shade-tree wanna-be and these are definitely the nicest tools in my toolbox now. Buy these now.. Even if you don't need wrenches, these are so pretty you could hang them on the wall as art. Just don't come crying to me when you wife throws a fit.

I have noticed the frames on these wrenches are relatively weak, and also very thin compared to competitors.Lastly, GearWrenches "Surface Drive Plus" system which is supposed to "Reduce Fastener Rounding", actually tries to round out 80% of the fasteners/fittings I use them on. Because it grips the corners and not the flats, it just shears them off. Brass fittings are soft, and when the wrench grips the corners, it just ends up rounding off fittings, causing you to use pliers to remove and replace. Also, because of the "Surface Drive Plus" system, when you slide the wrench on a fastener, it is a hair loose due to the detents for the "Surface Drive Plus". Causing havoc when using battery powered fastening tools (Vibrations), or even when doing up a nut and bolt in a tight spot with a ratchet on the other end. When trying to install 5/16 grease nipples, the box ends always just pop off, due to said system. Also, when the corners of a fastener begin to deteriorate, you can no longer fit on the box end of your wrench after you have taken it off.Overall i'm unhappy I spent the money on these, the only reason I give this 2 stars, is because of the length of the tool. I just wish they used a higher quality metal when creating a wrench that exerts a lot of force. I know this is no Snap-On brand, but the quality should still be a little bit higher. Other than that, GearWrench makes some good sockets and ratchets!

Gear Wrench 15 piece combination wrench set with carrying case. Sizes range from 1/4 inch to 1 inch. They seem to be a very nice set of wrenches. They work well, comfortable in my hand. I have never heard of this brand before so I looked them up and they are a division of Apex tool group which owns Crescent. I have several adjustable crescent wrenches so if they are as good as those I would be very happy. So far I am!. I would recommend these wrenches.
Great value at $6 a wrench. When you need a long wrench for those tough to loosen nuts and bolts you need it. The wrenches have a very smooth chrome finish and feel good in your hand. Not sure what kind of steel they are made of and they say that they are manufactured in China but they do come with a "Limited Lifetime Warranty" so that is a plus. The box end does not ratchet but for those hard jobs you want a plain wrench without the mechanics that can break.
Really a nice combination wrench set, long and heavy duty from 1/4" to 1" complete. The holder is really nice also, easily put in and removed with just a slight twist and it removes easily and to replace push in and a slight twist to lock in place. Nice design, this will stay mounted to a wall instead of like others take apart an put in a tool box which makes it hard to find the correct size. These come with a real nice polish so should be easy to keep clean. Highly recommend this tool set.

This GearWrench 15 piece SAE long fixed combination wrench set has non-ratcheting box ends. It comes with an open front storage case that has a handle for carrying. Nice feature to have. They all have a chrome polish and the size is stamped on both sides. The ends have an offset boxed end, in my opinion makes them easier to use. Fairly heavily made set.
