Gardeon Recliner Chairs Outdoor Sun Lounge Setting Patio Furniture Wicker Sofa

Pretty stylish and the two chairs are a good size for our deck. Easy to put together and sturdy, but not as comfortable as I'd hoped! The chairs need to be partially reclined to make them comfortable, and then they seem to need a lumbar cushion!Anyway

The product has to be assembled, which is fine, except all the fixings were loose in the bottom of the box instead of altogether in a package. The instructions were very basic and hard to follow. Thankfully my husband is very handy and managed to assemble the chair, but for others who aren’t so hands on, would have difficulty with assembling the chair. Once assembled it is a very comfortable chair.

Very happy with item. Just as described. Neighbours commenting on how attractive setting is. Arrived quickly. Very pleased.

Unexpectedly flat packed and then very difficult to assemble. Poor quality control related to fittings and installation points, especiallyreclin. Instructions vague. Requires smart problem solving assembler with right tools.Finished assembled product ok.Smaller than expected..won't suit a person with large frame, body weight.

2 Gardeon Outdoor recliner chairs - the last step of the construction was to attach both ends of the gas pump but its stick section would not slide into the cylinder section (opinion of being broken also supported by tool section expert guy at Bunnings) resulting in pump being too long for its screw holes to line up with the respective chair screw holes. Same problem with gas pump of 2nd chair luckily still in the box. Got a refund for both chairs which was handled well.

Chairs are great except they recline slowly without my activating recliner controls on side of chair. Cant find info online as to how to tighten control hydraulics! Catch service was great as I have always experienced with other purchases.

Excellent purchase.

The assembly not for the feint hearted but we are all masters of such things by now. Would have preferred there was a tad more to the cushions however that is easily fixed. Overall more than satisfied and as always deliveries from Myers are swift and seamless.

Horrible quality product and customer service

I love Myers and have shopped with them for years but I would not recommend this product. It comes in a flat pack and after assembling I realised it would not work - multiple pieces were broken and so it would not recline. The company apparently had no replacements but told me that I had to circle the faulty parts on the instructional manual and let them know so that they could replace the broken parts? I explained that it had been bought for elderly grandparents and they had lost the instruction manual and could also not disassemble the chair. The item meets the guidelines for Myers "big & bulky" returns and so I asked if it could be picked up as per the guidlines and was told that because it was delivered by Aus post my elderly grandparents could take it back to ... MoreI love Myers and have shopped with them for years but I would not recommend this product. It comes in a flat pack and after assembling I realised it would not work - multiple pieces were broken and so it would not recline. The item meets the guidelines for Myers "big & bulky" returns and so I asked if it could be picked up as per the guidlines and was told that because it was delivered by Aus post my elderly grandparents could take it back to Aus Post and once received Myers would consider a refund. I noticed t thsi time that the item was back in stock on the website and asked again for a replacement of the whole chair and was completely ignored. The company, any Myers themselves, made the returns process incredibly difficult and incredibly drawn out, with 3-5 days between emails. Ironically in each of their emails I was also given timelines of just a few days to do a range of tasks such as find broken pieces then correspond and await their reply on next steps, disassemble the chair, prepare the return, ship the return. After sending it back following Myers instructions I was bombarded with a range of differing emails from an original purchase email, a returns instruction email, a revised returns email as the previous was incorrect, and a returns received email. For such an expensive item it is ridiculous that a full replacement was not offered, its unacceptable that I paid full price for broken parts and that the solution was either just replacing bits and pieces or returning it without the guarantee of a refund. This was a horrible customer service experience, the quality of the product was poor and is certainly not worth wasting time or money on.

Not the best

Assembly instructions are awful and too many pieces to assemble. Quality of manufacture average and some holes were slightly out of line. Not sure the recliner handle will last.
