This is a model from the G-Shock Mudmaster Series, designed for use in extreme environments scattered with rubble, dirt and debris, and uses carbon materials. The use of high rigidity carbon on the case keeps damage and deformation at bay, and ensures a high level of airtightness and shock resistance. This model also features a filter that protects against the invasion of mud, a stainless steel panel back, and a back cover made of shock-resistant fine resin embedded with glass fibers, giving it a high level of resistance to dust and mud. The bezel also uses three layers of fine resin with carbon fiber inserts and is designed to resemble a portable gasoline can that could be found on off-road vehicles. Function-wise, this model comes with compass, altimeter/barometer, temperature reader and pedometer. In addition to being able to easily correct the time using the dedicated CASIO WATCHES app, there are lots of other useful features including the Mission Log feature, which automatically records in the app altitude data obtained from the watch and route data obtained by your smartphone. This is the 3rd Casio Mudmaster I have owned and none of them have disappointed! The GGB100-1B has the perfect feature set for my needs. Wether around town, at the range or in the shoot house I rely on my Casio for precision and absolute reliability. Already looking at the next Mudmaster for my collection!

Received today well packaged and in a cool G-SHOCK metal can. I skimmed the instructions downloaded the Gshock app on my iPhone was synced and up and running in 15 minutes. Checked time accurate to atomic clock, compass right on, barometer matched 100% to my Davis weather station, altimeter right onI don’t see paying hundreds more for solar function, batteries aren’t that expensive

I have a close friend who is a sailor. He wanted a watch with a compass and this fit the requirement. I bought it for him about a month ago and he absolutely loves it. Easy to use, easy to set up and very accurate.
Absolutely love this model! I owned a couple G-Shock watches in 09’. I sold them and went to Apple watches shortly after. I missed the feeling, of having a real watch, and decided to get another one. I waited a week, but it was worth it. It’s light, sleek, and it’s loaded with features. Considering collecting watches because of it!
The glass fogs up with any temperature change. I really like the design, feel, and overall appearance of the watch but the glass fogs up. I can not clean it due to taking it apart and getting behind the glass. Expected better from a G-Shock. Would not recommend.
Mud Master is one of the best watch models for outdoor activities. Extremely durable, functional and reliable. In addition to being one of the best aesthetically looking watches. Would highly recommend this version of G-Shock
Really great watch. You do need to learn how to operate so read instructions. Looks great and is pretty big. The app does need a little more work and would be nice if you could do more things with the app. So far I am glad I bought this watch. Use it when working at the ranch or the outdoors.

I recently returned the Casio timepiece after using it for a week. I downloaded the Casio App on my phone as directed. I purchased the watch because I travel extensively and often entering different time zones. The watch is supposed to synchronize with your cell phone and change time zones automatically. Upon my arrival in a new time zone, the watch failed to synch . I was unable to change the time manually. The watch finally changed to the correct time automatically 9 hours later. Upon my return home, the watch never changed to my correct home time. I imagine I would have issues when daylight savings time kicks in as I have 4 Casio watches I have to refer to the manual just to change to the DST as they will not perform this change automatically.
