Bought one about 8 years ago. Type of thing that I don't use much but handy to have if I need it and have only used it very minimally over time. Last time I went to use it after changing bits the complete coupling just fell to bits. Although still having adequate grease in the collar area, the C Clip inside the collar had lost its tension and sprung out of shape and just allowed the whole chuck to fall to bits.
