I recently purchased these boots for my son (a Christmas present) so he hasn't seen them yet. However, compared to another pair of similar boots (a different brand) which are now worn out, these boots have superior support in the heel cup as well as better grip on the soles and heels. The leather is soft and pliable but also supportive. A stunning pair of boots!

These boots are very comfortable and look great for office use. The soles are pretty thing but I’ve still walked decent distances in them without an issue. The only thing holding me back from a 5 is durability, my last pair failed after a bit over a year of use, but I think it was a bad boot.

Great shoes, even better service with quick exchange for change of size. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is having to pay return postage for the exchange of size, most other online retailers allow for free returns. Especially when I ordered these shoes in a size to match my current work shoes and yet they are different, despite both being Florsheim.
I'm a size 8-8.5 US so, following the size guide, I initially purchased a size 7 AU online. This ended up being far too large (e.g. 4 finger gap between toe and shoe point). I went in store to try on size 6, being the smallest size they offer and equivalent to a US 7, and it was still excessively large (3 finger gap). Not sure why the make of this shoe is so big but very odd and have never had such an issue with any other shoe before.
The only thing that would improve this boot is a stitched sole for a potentially longer life.The leather is very nice and the leather sole is stupidly soft and comfy. Easy on and they look great with chinos and a button up shirt for work.These required little break in. Really nice of the bat. I wear a 42EU or 8UK sometimes 42.5EU in runner. I bought the 8UK for a good fit. They are roomy without feeling lose or like they will over stretch. So like other reviews they run MAX half size large but definately not a full size so going your normal size should be fine.
They are a great comfortable boot suitable for casual and formal wear, solid construction with beautiful quality leatherHigh quality sole with good grip = handy if your planning to cut. Up the dance-floor ,
My partner loves the boots, so much so that those are his second pair of the same style, but in a different colour. They're comfy and look stylish when combining them with a suit or even with casual outfit.
They look great and are super comfy. I have only owned for 3 months but that is more than my last pair bought from a menswear chain.I would consider buying a more expensive model with the gel inserts (such as the Ceduna) but with the quality of the shoe I probably won't need to for a while!
This is my 2nd pair of Barret's and probably not my last. They are not only very stylish but, more importantly, very comfortable. With so many new shoes it takes time to 'break them in' but these are a perfect fit straight out of the box
