This backpack is the almost perfect EDC (esp at this price point). It has a small form factor while being spacious enough to carry everything for work or for a short weekend trip. In addition to them main section, there are two quick access panels (top and front) and a front section for tech accessories, keys, etc. The laptop section is protective. The straps and back mesh are comfy. Only two drawbacks are lack of sternum strap and band to attach to carry on roller/spinner.

Three large compartments enable my papers, laptop (MacBook Pro 15"), chargers, adapters, portable keyboard, notebooks all have a place and are kept safe and neat. There are also compartments for small items that would get lost in just an open bag. Best is the fit. It is a bit more rigid that my old bag which works great for a work bag v. a weekend day pack. The straps are very comfortable as well. While I am not the most fashion conscious person, the styling of this bag certainly fits better in a professional office than my old day pack/computer bag. Highly recommend this pack!

I went through weeks of researching a travel backpack that would fit my Macbook Pro M1 16 inch that has a case on it. After trial and error, and finding very few vague mentions [if at all] about this particular laptop sleeve fitting my need, I took a risk and tried it out. My macbook + case fits!!! WITH wiggle room / clearance! I'm so so happy with this purchase. Superb heavy duty quality, all the compartments for an OCD level organizer, and perfect size for additional bag [with a carry on luggage].

The laptop sleeve is a good size, and the bottom stops before the bottom of the bag itself, so you don't plunk your laptop on the floor when you put the bag down. The water bottle sleeves on the sides fit a 32 oz Nalgene, but only if you don't stuff the main compartment full (a drawback with any non-elastic bottle sleeve).Cons: I got the black one, and the fabric faded really quickly, like in less than a year (and I live in Boston, where the sun isn't beating down like crazy). I was actually worried it would be too big, it's the PERFECT size. I was worried I wouldn't like it because my last back pack had sternum straps and this one didn't, I sits perfect without. I was worried about the shoulder straps pinching the pack of my neck, it only might do thatdoes that if you where to where it really high on the back, that's not the way it's meant to sit and it does not. The compartments, the durable material and the colour grey I just love. It doesn't have useless straps hanging everywhere It's clean, compact and looks amazing. All around, this actually the best everyday backpack I've ever owned and I'm the guy who always wheres a backpack. If that's you, look know further. Highly recommend
This backpack is my daily work backpack and I take it on all my flights as carry-on/under the seat. I love all the niche pockets-- especially the smaller top pocket that almost functions as a wallet for me. They have all these handy little pockets throughout the bag as well. I love the spacious middle pocket where I can fit sweaters or a lunch box. The front pocket is great as well and bigger than I expected. I also LOVE that I can still fit my 32oz Nalgene in the sides of the backpack even when I have my laptop and all my things in it. Keep in mind that out of the three main sections, you can only stuff clothes and things in the first two. The third/back section is mostly for laptops (plural) and flatter items. So even though it's mainly a commuter bag, I've found that it functions well for trips.The bag is very durable and high quality although that part shouldn't be surprising and I'm hoping it will last me a while. I don't think I would take it hiking, but I would take it car camping. Overall, I love this bag a lot and I can't think of anything else I would want to be added to it.
This backpack is a nice size - I find a lot of commuter packs are too small. Lots of different compartments, it holds lunch, computer, headphones, etc with room for more. It still fits inside my bike panniers so kind of the ideal size. It's comfortable and I like the simplicity of the look plus the range of colours. This grey is like a slate - goes with everything.
The bag is even better than I had hoped. Super functional pocket spacing and more compartments than I could have imagined. It’s really well balanced too- when fully packed, it handles well and sits comfortably on your back with no bulging due to a firm back support. I recently used this as my personal item for a Hawaii trip and it was the perfect piece of equipment for the job. As always with Fjällräven products the G1000 material is super durable and the zippers seem to be of high quality construction as well. Can’t recommend this bag enough!
Very nice backpack, lots of storage space and pocket options for organization. The side water bottle pockets do not use an elastic, which I thought might be an issue, but are very deep and as such don't need it, and are probably better in the long run as there is no elastic material to wear out. Laptop pocket fits my almost 17in laptop snugly. Main pockets are large enough to pack well. Comfortable to wear, good straps and a fairly solid, nicely padded back. The G1000 material is water resistant to light rain, at least for now, and feels somewhere between canvas and synthetic material. My only complaint would be that it really picks up dust/ dirt when placed on the ground and gets visibly dirty quickly but can easily be dusted off by hand.
I've been on the hunt for a new bag for work and after a lot of research this was spot on. Laptop compartment with an area to put a tablet. A good sized middle compartment for all your other stuff. A front pocket with space for all your tech items and another front pocket for anything random.Only complaint is the shoulder straps could have a bit more padding but for simply to and from work it's perfect
