Five Ten Freerider Pro Flat Shoes 42⅔

The Adidas Five Ten Freerider Pro Men in Cardboard/Off White/Core Black is a mountain bike shoe for flat pedals. Reference JQ1143 identifies this brown colour version. It suits riders looking for a lace-up shoe with direct pedal contact on trails, in the bike park or on a pump track. The flat-pedal construction does not use a cleat mounting interface, so check that this is the pedal system you intend to ride.A Stealth S1 rubber outsole with Dotty tread provides the contact surface for the pedal. An EVA midsole adds cushioning, while the reinforced toe area forms part of the upper construction. The synthetic upper is lightweight and designed to dry quickly, with a textile lining inside. Laces adjust the fit over the instep. Try the shoe with your particular pedals because pin design, platform size and riding technique also influence the contact feel.Check both shoes with your cycling socks, paying attention to heel hold and toe room. Secure the laces so they cannot catch in the drivetrain or crank. Remove dirt after riding and keep the tread clear. Dry the shoes at room temperature, follow Adidas care instructions and regularly inspect the pedal contact areas for wear.
