This toy was supposed to be for my 1.5 year old, but my 5 year old ended up loving it as much or more! It has two sound features with many different phrases. My kids love the teeter totter and the bell. I love that it folds up nicely For storage. I wish all of the previous little people toys we bought 4 years ago did that too. The schoolhouse has quite a few good features for babies- things they can slide back and forth, buttons to push, etc. the two characters are also adorable! Great product overall!

We are big fans of the Little People line in our house. My 2 year old has some of the newer sets and some from when her older brother was little. Sometimes the brand quality changes in toy lines down the road. This is absolutely not the case with these sets! They just keep producing hits! My daughter was drawn to this right away and keeps coming back. This foldable set includes two figures and a little easel, however my daughter loves using her other figures and animals in this set as well. That's what I really love about these, how they foster imagination and creativity. She loves ringing the bell and hearing the various sounds and songs. The spinner and clacker are a neat touch. The only slight drawback is that despite it folding up and appearing to be able to carrying around, it doesn't stay latched shut very well. This has been a little frustrating, however the positive is that it's easy to open and close for a toddler which is more important in my opinion. This is a great set, looking forward to getting more!

I really liked this toy for my 3 year old, he loves the variety of options it has when it comes to playing. It’s a fun learning toy for his age, and he loves the little people toys so I knew he would love this as well. It has a little garden on the side to pretend to water plants, has a nice little globe as well as a teeter totter to pretend play with the little people characters. I would definitely recommend this product to others who have toddler or are looking for a gift for someone with a toddler as it’s a great toy and it also closes up for easier storage as well.

I got this playset for my twenty month old. When he saw it he was so excited to get it out of the package. He really enjoys ringing the bell, opening and shutting the door and spinning the globe. He loved to discover the buttons and the sound that came along with the buttons. I was surprise how long this toy grabbed his attention. He also seeks out this toy to play with it again and again. We already had the Little People School Bus, so this playset was a nice addition. As a parent I love the durability of this toy. I also love that other Little People figures work with it. I loved that it already came with the batteries. And above all, I love that my older children play with it and it keeps them entertained too.
I received the Little People Friendly School in exchange for my review through the Mattel Play Rate Review Program. I have two girls, ages 2 and 4, and they both have been playing with this nonstop since we received it. It has bright colors, fun songs and lots of encouragement for imaginative play. They have been singing the songs even when not playing with the toy and it’s adorable. We have been using our other Little People from other play sets to join the two that came with the school set. The plastic is durable and the play set appears to be well made, just like our other Little People play sets.
My daughter loves playing with this and has been playing with it every day since it arrived. The little details are adorable with the school decorations being exactly what she would find at her real preschool. All little people characters fit so she added more students to her school from her collection. The little hanging bell is a cute addition and really works. I love that it folds up and is easy to store. Highly recommend adding to your little people collection.
I bought these for my two 18 month of grandchildren to go along with their FP Little People schoolhouse. I was very disappointed that neither product included a little person of color. I should not have to purchase extra little people in order to get one of color. Each product included 2 little people. It seems that one out of the 2 could have been a child of color. FP has a diverse customer base and it’s unfortunate that they have totally overlooked that fact in these products. I also purchased the V-Tech pirate ship which included 2 little pirate people (1 black and 1 white). FP could take a note from V-tech. I will definitely look at pictures more closely next time before ordering anything from FP.
My 2 year old daughter and friends love this little set. I love how it folds up for easy transportation and storage. The learning of the colors, cycle of a caterpillar/butterfly, and counting provides a creative and fun way to learn. The kids love how the earth spins and to ring the school bell to announce school is in session. It is a great way to add to our little people collection and continue to develop skills needed for preschool.
First of all, when I chose this product, I was really hesitant about giving my energetic 13-month-old a toy with a bell as a central feature. The bell's chime is very soft and pleasant, though, so I don't have any regrets. As a matter of fact, I absolutely love this toy. My daughter is an advanced 13-month-old when it comes to play, but she is still at an age where she puts everything in her mouth. This makes it hard to find toys that are safe, yet able to hold her attention for more than a few minutes. Little People are large enough to be safe for babies and packed with cool features, so this set did not disappoint! The schoolhouse has multiple parts that can be manipulated by little hands: a seesaw, a bell, rings that can be moved from side to side, a spinnable ... MoreFirst of all, when I chose this product, I was really hesitant about giving my energetic 13-month-old a toy with a bell as a central feature. This makes it hard to find toys that are safe, yet able to hold her attention for more than a few minutes. Little People are large enough to be safe for babies and packed with cool features, so this set did not disappoint! The schoolhouse has multiple parts that can be manipulated by little hands: a seesaw, a bell, rings that can be moved from side to side, a spinnable globe, a little wheel with the stages of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, a clock with movable hands, a door that opens and closes, and a watering can that can be pushed back and forth. This toy also has potential to grow with your little one as the become more interested in pretend play (my 5-year-old son likes making the Little People talk and play with each other at school). There are opportunities for learning for him in this toy, as well, such as the caterpillar wheel and the clock. As someone who works with special needs children, I personally LOVE that Little People focused on social skills like sharing and taking turns in the songs that the schoolhouse plays. It has so much potential to entertain and teach children at different levels of learning. Honestly, this is a wonderful addition to any little one's toy collection and I can't wait to see what other LP products have to offer!
This is a wonderful toy - so many different activities, things to see and hear. I love the clock - I feel children must continue to see clock faces - think of all the historic clocks in the world. This is for my 1 year old and 3 year old grandchildren ( a boy and a girl) as a gift for them together. I know how much the 1 year old already enjoys his sister's other FP Little People sets since he could sit up. He holds the little characters/animals etc. and is trying to push the buttons. I also bought the school bus to go with this. I do wish the toys came with more characters but as we know FP sells separate characters also...
