Fisher & Paykel WH1060P3 10kg Front Load Washing Machine with Steam

I replaced a top loader F&P 12-year-old machine which was used almost daily. I was apprehensive about getting a front loader but I'm about to redo the laundry and it makes sense space and efficiency-wise. After a huge amount of research I landed on this one and it's been great! The regular cycle is around an hour, and the pre-soak only adds 15mins and gets the daycare stains out of clothes, never an easy feat. It's quiet (although the finish bell is too quiet I never hear it) and uses a lot less water than the old top loader too. The add garment feature is good, you can add the found sock during the cycle if needed. Plus it spins the clothes much dryer so less drying time. Really happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

This machine not only looks really nice but from the moment I turned the wash cycle knob I could feel the superior quality of a Fisher & Paykel product. Before your first wash you just need to run a simple test of a few features, then run a drum clean cycle. One of the best features of this machine is its useability the star of this is the light up wash cycles which makes it really easy to know which wash cycle you have selected. With the F&P it is a dream to use no more kneeling down to eye level to try to work out what the little line or dot is lining up to. If for no other reason this light up cycle feature alone is enough for me to say go buy this machine. A really nice feature is an internal light. Simply press the start/pause button then make your desired changes then press start/pause to resume. Steam refresh is a wonderful option. I have used the steam refresh for clothes that have been in storage since the previous year. It works well to get rid of the musty smell and saves having to go through a full wash. Worth mentioning is the detergent dispenser this is a dual liquid/powder compartment and you need to remove the liquid one (that nestles in the powder one) if you are using powder. The machine runs much quieter than regular machines. The drainage pump is a gentle wooshing sound as opposed to a more mechanical grinding sound the average machine has. And the water inlet valve seems to have a softer function which stopped any pipe shudder in our older house. At the end of your wash the machine simply gives a few beeps to let you know its finished. This is a superior quality machine that makes laundry time easy. I can completely relax knowing this machine will wash and take care of my clothes and laundry.

Wow! We run a BnB and with all the laundry we do we needed to upgrade to a machine that could match the loads. The 10kg Fisher Paykel Front Load Washer is awesome. I love the Interior light that comes on so you can see if you have left something behind in the drum! But most of all I like the short cycles for our BnB I can do multiple loads before the next guests arrive and it has a steam fresh cycle for refreshing items... I have used this on the lounge pillows and its awesome. Busy in your laundry This is the washer for you...! Easy to use.
