Fender Made in Japan Junior Collection Jazz Bass | Satin Surf Green

The Made in Japan Junior Collection Jazz Bass breaks new ground as the perfect stepping stone for aspiring bassists, combining authentic Fender aesthetics with player-friendly design innovations. This thoughtfully engineered instrument features a 30-inch scale length that makes chord formations more accessible whilst reducing finger strain during extended playing sessions. The compact body has been scaled down to approximately 94% of a standard bass, incorporating a clever body cavity design that significantly reduces weight without compromising tone. This makes the instrument particularly suitable for younger players and those who prefer a more manageable playing experience. At the heart of this bass lies the newly developed Junior Collection Modified Single Coil Jazz Bass pickups, which capture the characteristic mellow and dynamic tones that define the Jazz Bass sound. The instrument is completed with vintage-style tuners and a traditional 4-saddle bridge configuration, ensuring reliable tuning stability for both practice and performance situations.
