I first discovered this Chardonnay about 5 years ago in a small cafe in Toogoom. When I saw it on the wine list how could I not ask for a FB Chardonnay please!! I love a Chardonnay and FB Chardonnay is my favourite. Good price, particularly when on special. I always snap up a carton. The packaging always makes me grin. Best Chardy in opinion!! Smooth as, perfect amount of oak. Yum.

Rich and buttery, to get a wine of similar characteristics out of Margaret River would cost an arm and a leg. If you like big chardies, probably the best value for money going around.
My favourite Chardonnay. I think it is smooth and I just enjoy the great taste.
This is a goldilocks chardonnay. It is not a modern style weaker type of chardonnay. Nor is it over the top or too robust. It is just right.
I have tried a few thousand great chardies and this one leaves me disappointed. It is one dimensional in its over-the-top toasty, butteriness. Lacks a fruity freshness and I found it quite flat, lacking complexity, boring. The mouth feel doesn't have the roundness you would expect with a full bodied chardonnay. Pass.
Very buttery and crisp and price is great so I will purchase some more soon. Also it has a cork which was unusual but easy to remove.
You will often read the product description with some skepticism but in this case it is very accurate. This is a very good wine and is "old school" chardonnay. You won't regret buying a case.
Real californian , rich fruit driven white ,lots of buttery , melon flavours, enjoy at room temp 12c , complements stews & winter dishes
