Fancy feast salmon - the first time I bought the variety pack that this flavor was included in, my cat absolutely loved it! So much that I decided to buy just the salmon flavor pack for next time. When it came in and I fed waffles his first can he wouldn’t eat it at all. I continue to try meal after meal and he won’t touch it, after looking more carefully I noticed white granules in the food. I think it is a bad batch, if possible would you be able to refund? :(

I had my cat tested for allergies and she is allergic to chicken. She is having injections three times a week. I’ve been searching for a cat food that does not contain chicken, flax, rice, spinach.. description states contains turkey. I really should have checked with the company first before ordering, but my bad, I did not. When I checked with purina, I found out that it, indeed, does contain chicken. I donated the food to the cat shelter. I’ve learned my lesson..to check with the manufacturer before purchasingI would recommend it to people whose cats don’t have allergies. My cat loved it.

I have been feeding this type and brand of canned cat food for many years! (20+ years for my eldest Scottish Fold) As soon as the shortage came when Covid hit us my eldest would eat a spoonful and then a few minutes later would run to the cat box with loose stool. I thought it might just be an infection, or her gut was getting sensitive due to age. I put it on the shelves for the outside feral cats. I had built a catio for the new feral pregnant cat and I thought I would give her a treat along with her regular kitten food and even SHE wouldn't touch the Fancy Feast pate, both Salmon & Shrimp and just plain Salmon Pate! I tossed 4 cases of wet food. I think this needs a reporter on this because I see posts all over the place about how the cat food has changed and how ... Winner! Winner! Salmon dinner. I swear my cat can smell the food through the can. I took it out of the cabinet & he magically appeared. Meowing to beat the band. I opened the can, put it on the plate & he started standing up trying to get to it. Once I put it down he was all over it. Klaus is very finicky and apparently, a pescatarian. He will not any meat products. Turns his nose up at. Unless it's fresh chicken from our dinner plate, then all is ok.He loves this flavor of Fancy Feast, as you can see. I like it because it gets him great nutrition. I like to give him wet food at least once a week, as that is recommended for male cats to avoid UTI. He never says no.The nice about this one is it's a pate, so it's not all liquidy when it comes out & splashes around. ... MoreWinner! Winner! Salmon dinner. No fuss, no muss.Klaus licks the plate clean & I think he'd ask for seconds if he could talk.Definitely a flavor/brand I will be buying in the future.I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. I didn’t even know I had ordered this until I saw a request for a review. I thought I had ordered my regular beef. So I opened the case and sure enough it was the savory salmon flavor. Since it was time for me to feed my cat, I immediately opened a can of the new salmon flavor and gave him his regular half can. However he completely cleaned the bowl and licked it off and so I gave him the rest of the can which he also ate. He even licked his spoon that I use to keep his food in a little pile. I couldn’t believe he ate the whole can. He’s never done that before. Sooo, we LOVE the savory salmon fancy feast!!
One of my cats would eat this flavour (but not keen on any of the other flavours in Fancy Feast tins) but since manufacture has moved to Thailand, she won't even look at it. I opened a tin of the old USA made product and that was eaten. Something has changed since the product is being made inThailand. On the other hand, the Fancy Feast Petites pouches that are also made in Thailand seem to be acceptable, so perhaps it is something with tinned products that neither of my fussy Russians seem to like - regardless of brand.
I've adopted numerous cats over the past two decades, and Fancy Feast salmon (three-ounce cans) is the all-time favorite for almost all cats. (A few cats did not eat any canned food.) I used to think that cats preferred chicken cat food, but I soon learned that salmon is the preferred flavor, followed by tuna. While the three ounce cans cost more than the optional five ounce cans, the smaller size (and apparently higher quality) offers a near-perfect serving size and less waste.Probably unavoidable is the nasty fishy odor if the uneaten food stays out too long - cleaning the plates can be quite smelly!I considered a "4" rating (there is always room for improvement), but I could not think of any significant factor that would warrant a reduction from a "5". “I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.”My cats loved this! They always love fancy feast but we give them another brand normally (see my above comment) but I was asked to product test this for my opinion so I gave this a try. While I will say that my cats ate this quickly and loved it, I don't like the fact that it is really small compared to other brands of the same product. That's why I took away 1 star because of that fact but other than that, my cats gobbled this up quickly and loved it. Hard to share this between 3 cats but I made do.It was easy to open and easy to cut up between the cats and I like the application as well as the look of it. My cats approved of the taste because they finished it fast!
The items were damaged in shipment and when I opened the envelope, wet cat food dripped all over the floor. I know Walmart has this brand in the store so I don't know why they would ship froma 3rd party seller! I thought these items would come in a box with the other items I ordered. I love Walmart but I am getting tired of getting items from other sellers separately that are either not the correct item or are damaged. This also wastes resources when shipped alone.
My cats are not finicky AS LONG AS they can have Fancy Feast Grain Free Pate Wet Cat Food, Salmon. They love this and even purr and make little kitty-biscuits while they eat it.Typically, they don’t really like the cans with gravy so pate version works for them as it doesn't have gravy in it.I've never seen my cats go crazy for cat food like they do with Fancy Feast Grain Free Pate Wet Cat Food, Salmon. They just seem to LOVE this for some reason. The vet said it was fine for them, nutritionally. I love that it has real salmon in it and is grain free.I also really like that the cans are BPA free. Each of mine typically will eat a 1/2 a can of this a day (along with some dried food) and it stores well in the refrigerator come to find out which I like.My crew ...
