EVH 5150 Series Standard, Slime Green

The all-new 5150 Series Standard brings back the legendary spirit of Eddie Van Halen's iconic axe with a modern twist that's built for today's players. This reimagined classic features a modified Strat -style basswood body with that signature deeper upper body curve, paired with a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck sporting a comfortable modified “C” profile. The hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish and heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel make this guitar as practical as it is legendary, while the colour-matched “hockey stick” headstock proudly displays the EVH logo. Unlike the original single-pickup striped beauty, this 5150 Standard packs serious punch with an HH pickup configuration controlled by a three-way toggle switch. Both the bridge and neck positions feature custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups that serve up everything from articulate cleans to balls-to-the-wall overdrive with endless sustain. The 12”-16” compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays ensures smooth, speedy playability across the entire neck. What really sets this axe apart is its arsenal of performance features, including a custom low friction volume knob for seamless volume swells and a high friction tone knob that stays put when you need it most. The lower bout kill switch adds a new dimension for stutter and rhythmic effects — perfect for nailing those classic “You Really Got Me” moments. Topped off with an EVH-branded Floyd Rose bridge system complete with fine tuners and the patented EVH D-Tuna for instant drop-D switching, this high-octane machine comes dressed in eye-catching Neon Pink with all-chrome hardware and EVH-branded Gotoh tuning machines.
