where the heck do you even read what the ingredients are?? This is the one most important consideration in choosing which hand cream to buy, especially with Eucerin and their over proliferation of choices. They have changed from have a great product with original moisturizing creme now to so many confusing varieties with a few extra ingredients resulting in them now no longer being effective and leaving behind totally annoying sticky residues. Get it together Eucerin!! Your advertising is now absurd!

If you are extremely dry with cracked skin from a hand rash (dermatitis, eczema). I found Eucerin original healing a life saver. It is a bit thick, like shortening consistency. You warm up a bit in your fingers, palms and press into your hands or wherever you need it. For even better effect, put on a pair of cotton gloves overnight or for about 30 minutes. It took me about a year….but, healed my hand rash. Now I just use it once a day at night. During the day now, i use a lighter hand cream, like Cervae, Eucerin calming cream or eczema cream. Works for anywhere you have dry skin, but, I especially like it for my hands! I have never found a better product.

Thick goop of a cream that is fragrance free. I love it. It makes my skin soooo soft and supple. This is one of the few creams that keeps my skin moisturized in winter too, without the need to frequently reapply it. Haven’t seen any breakouts with this cream. This cream doesn’t give me rashes or hives like some other scented lotions do. I warm it on my palms and apply. It’s a relative of Nivea, sans the fragrance and some chemicals. I sort of like the smell - it’s like milk or buttermilk, but there’s no added fragrance in the cream!

I love this product. I had chemical burn on my entire face once and I couldn’t put anything but water on it without intense pain. Aloe, moisturizing cream, and you name it I tried to find something that would work but ended up just having to wash it off. This product was the one thing I could put on and it helped heal and moisturize my face without the burning sensation everything but water gave me before. It also has no scent to it which I am very sensitive to, and I carry a small travel container filled with this with me everywhere. 100% would recommend.

I have had eczema on my face, arms, and legs all my life and very little has helped to sooth it. I recently decided to try this cream on its richest level and it has done wonders. The eczema on my face has always left my skin super dry and flaky, but this cream helped to restore moisture back into my face and stop the peeling. It also helps to reduce the itchiness on my inner elbows and repair the dry skin. This cream also spreads a lot so not a lot is required for each use which does help it last longer. I only wouldn’t recommend someone with an oily face to use this on your face.

This product is distributed by the same company that distributes Nivea in the U.S. and it is made in Mexico as well. The only difference is that it had slightly less ingredients, and it is fragrance free. It is also paraben and dye free as well (for those interested in such things). I never tried the one that came with the white cap, instead I have the one with the red cap and new packaging, so I can’t speak on whether the formula in the old packaging happens to work better than the one in the new packaging. I have very sensitive, dry-to-very dry, acne prone skin. Plus, I suffer with eczema from head to toe. And, I am prescribed topical medications, which does involve Retin A (tretinoin). Some people may be against the use of mineral oil in their skincare products, but it honestly I’ve it’s one of the best ingredients when it comes to best moisturizing very dry, super irritated skin, and helping to restore ones skin barrier. So I’m going to keep using this wonderful gem of a product as long as Eucerin continues to make it. The product is virtually scentless. Yes, it is a very rich cream, but a little definitely goes a very long way with this stuff, so I am not heavy handed with this stuff at all. Because, there’s absolutely no need to. I put it in small amounts on my face, rub it in and voila, it starts to do it’s magic instantly. I also have used it on different areas of my body and it just makes it feel so in incredibly smooth. This definitely works much better than any steroid my dermatologist has ever prescribed for me to topically use. If you have very dry skin, if you have eczema, psoriasis, or happen to be on a retinoid (whether it happens to be Retin A or something else), I can’t recommend this enough for you to try this creme now! Oh, and I have not experienced any issues with it severely clogging my pores and breaking me out like crazy. And, my skin is as super sensitive as it gets. Now, I don’t recommend anyone using this product on their face, if your face is already producing a whole lot of excess sebum ( i.e.). However, you can most definitely use it on any areas below your face that happen to be dry, okay. Much good luck to everyone that tries it!

Fantastic for face—even super dry, acne-prone

I’ve had eczema on my face for several years now, and this cream is the only thing I’ve found that comfortably moisturizes my face, even during flares, without triggering my acne. It definitely leaves a bit of an emollient (some might say greasy) film, which I like; it combats the drying effect some foundations can have. It layers well under makeup with no pilling. My only wish is that there was a version with SPF, but I hope this product is never discontinued as-is—it’s been a lifesaver for me.I don’t use it on my body as I find it too difficult to rub in quickly; I prefer La Roche Posay eczema cream for body.

Is this my new holy grail?

I’ve been using Eucerin lotion previously for my face when it was oily and it worked out great! Now that my face is dry, it’s not enough anymore. So I decided to try Eucerin in its cream form. You guys, this is not cream, it’s plaster for wall, it’s the thickest thing ever, it’s second ingredient is petroleum jelly so there’s my answer. A little goes a long way, warm it with your hands then apply so your not stretching your face. The original moisturizing creme is a simple list of ingredients, just 4 or 5, leaves behind NO sticky residue, got me through over a decade of living in the desert, used to come in a plain white jar. Do not know if Eucerin even makes this product anymore. The stuff in the jars with the red labels (all looking about identical by the way) with an array of wildly similar names that are meaningless to ANY consumer, have additional ingredients, one of which starts with a letter P and no, not referring to petrolatum .... All of these additional ingredients have RUINED these Eucerin variants.
