Let me start by saying I love Estée Lauder products in general. I wasn’t convinced this would do anything for my acne scars, as I have tried numerous products over the years and just wait for them to fade naturally. This worked within 3 weeks. I used it in the AM before putting on my makeup, but I also paired it with the nighttime repair serum in the evening. My skin really did brighten and lift my scarring. You will have to continue this product though to keep the lasting effects. I stopped using it once my scarring was better, but of course no longer have that brightness to my bare skin.

As for me, I run an uphill battle with the pale transparency of my skin which triggers visual “imperfections” including dark circles, visible veins and facial hair roots, and extreme susceptibility to redness. Basically there is no wiggle room if there is even a spec of imperfection on my skin - it will stick out. I have tried many vitamin C serums, and I found this one in particular to be notable for featuring molasses and yeast extracts - combined together to form what Estée Lauder refers to as Ferments. Through a scientific fermentation process, these ingredients are amplified in performance and potency. I love incorporating any type of sugar into my skincare. I have no idea why, but my skin seems to love it. I am intrigued by the Molasses in this formula and found the texture to be extremely humectant and soothing to my skin. There is a nice, citrusy fresh fragrance that is not too noticeable, but adds to the enjoyment of use. I used this after cleansing and before my usual toner for an extra boost of glowing, “dewy” radiance. This product is mostly geared towards dark spots or acne marks which I do not have, however I do think it is a great option for those in need of antioxidant protection against discoloration.

This is a beautiful silky serum. Almost like pearl texture. This went on very well and Instantly absorbed onto skin. It has a light refreshing fragrance but not over powering. I used a few bottles of this but I moved onto other products that had a higher amount of vitamin c to address more of my stubborn sun spots. However this is a great serum I recommend this to anyone that is new to vitamin c. It's not irratating at all. The bottle is nice and has a nice smooth pump. Though I probably used 4 pumps for my whole face and body.

Awful product!

I bought this serum as had great results using ANR. Looking at all the things it claimed I thought it would be wonderful. How wrong I was. It does feel nice on the skin but after using for 3 weeks has made my skin worse. My face now looks awful and more uneven and have started to break out with cystic acne! I have loved Estee lauder products but having spent so much money on fake promises with this product I think it's time to find a different brand. This is so expensive it should live upto what they claim.

Best vitamin c for scars

I started using this product in December just before Christmas. Ive had horrible fungal acne on my checks and now they left scars. I wanted to try a product that specifically targets acne scarring which this products does. Most vitamin c serums didnt work (ordinary, inkey list) but this worked amazing! Within 4 months my scars were practically gone. I first started seeing improvement about two weeks in. I recommend this product although the high price youre Paying for quality and results.

Brightens

I only used this for a few days because I received a sample. I loved the silky texture of it and how great it felt on my face. It didn’t give me breakouts or clogged pores. Made my skin bright and vibrant and decreased hyperpigmentation. I would totally buy this even though it is twice the price of normal serums I use for my young age. I think it’s a solid product with solid science behind it.

Not impressed!

This seems to be the product that Estee Lauder has developed to replace their Idealist (which I have been using for 20+ years), and -- in my opinion -- it's a poor substitute for it. I've used other serums that are superior, and DON'T make my face breakout. I'm not a fan, obviously. I will be switching to another brand with the superior serum. Such a bummer! I've been using Estee Lauder products for more than 30 years.

Radiant silky skin

Perfectionist Pro Rapid Brightening with Ferment3 and Vitamin C leaves your skin fresh and cool. It is light weight on the skin, only on the finger tips a minute amount is required. When used with day cream leaves the skin radiant and glowing. I have a ruddy complexion and the Brightening component tones down the redness, so much I don't feel the need for any further make up. Great product, well priced, very happy customer.
