Don't take that as a bad thing though, espolon is a solid blanco tequila, great for mixing in cocktails. While I personally prefer Casamigos, that stuff is double the price, so it's not a fair comparison. Above is one of my go-to drinks using Espolon, a passionfruit margarita.

Espolón Tequila is the perfect tequila for my drink. Lacking the harshness of a cheaper tequila, I can enjoy my drink without grimacing at every sip. Also, with it being affordable, it is a no-brainer to add it to my shelf. Try this recipe next time you are craving a margarita. 1.5 ounce of Espolón 1 ounce of Triple Sec .75 ounce of Lime Juice Wet the rim of glass with Lime Juice then rim the glass with a 50/50 mix of Coarse Kosher Salt and Ancho Chili Powder. Fill with crushed and whole ice to your liking. Enjoy!

Regarding this tequila, nothing negative to say. Very smooth and easy, as already stated. Very nicely packaged, with a straight label. On the way down, there is just enough heat to keep you interested. If you love a decent tequila, there's no need to freeze, chase, or, in my opinion, waste away in a margarita. I'm no longer interested in Hornitos at this pricing. Similar to 1800 in enjoyment, but lacking the cool shot top. Because I enjoy the bottle, I'll give it five stars. cannot fail. I'm surprised I ever drank Cuervo.

I can only say, "Oh my goodness," to start. Look no farther if you're seeking for some tequila. Although reasonably smooth, it nevertheless has the acrid tequila product taste. Although I wouldn't drink it straight, I do advise drinking it with fruit or juice to help you relax. Perfect for solitary shots or mixed drinks. Well worth the price of admission.
This tequila is one that I heartily suggest; I only recently started drinking it and immediately fell in love with it. I've tried both the Blanco and Respodo Espolon. For tekillya, both are excellent buys. Because it is so smooth, I like the blanco more. The Respodo is a little bit more incisive. Espolon Blanco is a deceptive drink since it is so simple to consume straight up. However, unlike some of the more expensive boutique tequilas, you still have your pocket.
