I bought this after having a facial at a spa where the therapist also did a massage on my scalp using this mud. My hair looked so good and conditioned afterwards that I had to buy it! I had thought it would be a messy product but it's not and now I like to massage a teaspoonful into my scalp and hair and leave it in over night. It dries in so I've not had any mess/stains on the my pillow. The next morning I shampoo and condition as normal and my hair looks and feels really nice afterwards. I have fine highlighted hair and don't find this heavy nor does it make my hair greasy. It's my new favourite hair product!

I only use this every so often as I have, for the most part, unproblematic straight and fine hair. I usually wet my hair and wash my body in the shower beforehand, and wash my hair if I feel the need, say if I’ve left my hair for a few days. I don’t like leaving hair masks in overnight so use it using the day and leave it on for at least an hour or so. I follow it with ESPAS bergamot and jasmine shampoo and conditioner. After blow drying with heat protection spray, my hair feels so light and shiny! I’m obsessed. I’ve ordered another tube to use more regularly.

This is in my top three hair products, maybe my favourite ever. I pop this on for min 1 hour, preferably overnight and wow does my hair feel incredible after. My scalp can be challenging, sometimes hormones probably more my hair being bleached but this mask cleanses my scalp/hair and also nourishes my strands. My hair feels light, bouncy and hydrated. ESPA has created something magical and this is a must-try for anyone who finds scalp treatments a little too harsh and struggles with masks weighing hair down. Love, love, love!

I love this indulgent hair mask. It smells beautiful, makes hair soft and super pleased to get it at this price!
Received a sample tube after doing a bit of damage to my hair. My hair was to the point where is didn't feel like hair anymore. Only way I can explain. After washing my hair I thoroughly coated my hair while damp. Brushed through and tossed it up in a towel for 2 hours. I was not expecting to have such dramatic results. As I was rinsing my hair I immediately felt the difference. I never felt my hair so silky and smooth. After rinsing it, I did not use any heat, air dried and you could just see the volume. Love this product so much more than the usual high up popular brand.
Lovely packaging of product and additional information is presented well. The tube vs the jar contains more product by 20ml, and I also felt that the tube allowed for easier and more controlled dispensing into the hand to apply. Prevents the remaining product being contaminated! I had to use a considerable amount of product as I have hair down to the base of my back. And it really needed massaging onto the scalp. I left the mask in my hair for around an hour- hour and a half. I followed with ESPA purifying shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Prior to drying, I applied tresemme biotin repair primer, L,oreal extraordinary oil, and tresemme care and protect heat defence spray. My hair felt extremely light, smoothed and shiny after this whole process!
I received a sample of this in my January Look fantastic Beauty box. My scalp is a little sore and itchy so I decided to give this a try. It's very pleasant smelling and reminded me of some other beauty product that I just couldn't put my finger on. The texture is smooth and easy to apply so not that mud like in texture like the name would have you thinking. After applying I decided to leave it in all night and washed it out the following morning. It was soothing to my scalp whilst in my hair and easy to rinse out the next day. My hair is probably the shiniest I've ever seen it after using this however I'm unable to buy more as its extremely expensive- so maybe only for a birthday/xmas treat for me!
Love using this to soothe my scalp as an overnight treatment. Great results on my sensitive scalp. Have also used this as a face mask with excellent results. Applied a thin layer to my whole face after cleansing and allowed it to sink in for half an hour. Washed any remaining residue off with warm water and a muslin cloth. Skin looked great. My pores appeared smaller and my skin tone/colour was more even....like looking at myself through a filter....and it didn't aggravate my spot prone skin. Will buy again. Thank you Espa.
My experience with this product comes from leaving it on for various lengths of time: the recommended 20 minutes, an hour, a few hours and overnight. My hair is in good condition; not colour treated and I rarely use heat styling (bar blow drying). I feel I benefit the most from leaving it on overnight or for a few hours (I. e. put on in the morning for an evening event). It leaves my hair extremely soft, weightless and shiny. I just finished a tube of it, and own another brand new tube, but already I want to but another to allow for frequent use! I do shampoo my hair prior and on occasion condition (both ESPA) also before leaving on, and repeating after.
i decided to give this a try after my colleague told me how good it was . i found it easy to use and smells really nice. didnt need much and i have medium length hair over the shoulder . First thing i noticed after application is the product dried quickly and left my wavy hair looking amazing! I left it over night and washed out in the morning. My hair was super soft , felt thicker and was wasy to manage. This product definitly did not disappoint and i would recommend esp if you have finer hair that can be difficult to manage .
