One complaint is I wish it was a little smaller and a little lighter. I notice this when moving it around the house from room to room, and up and down stairs, especially when I'm also carrying a baby in my other arm. I also noticed the newborn insert, when installed, flapped over and dragged on the floor when I tried moving the bouncer from room to room. I had to lift the bouncer a little higher and in an awkward position to avoid it from dragging. Overall, this bouncer is well designed, has lots of great features, and can truly grow with your kids from newborn to toddler. We previously had a similar bouncer from another company and my son (1.5 months) never seemed to settle but he seems to really like the Ergobaby Evolve 3-in-1 Bouncer! I think the biggest reason is the newborn insert because it gives his head a bit more stability. His movements cause enough bounce for him to enjoy and the harness keeps him in place even with my 2 year old bouncing him a little enthusiastically sometimes.It's really sturdy and stable but isn't super heavy. It doesn't slide around on the floor at all since it has grips. My husband ran into the house to grab it when we forgot it for an outing and he couldn't figure out how to fold it down without my instructions. Additionally, It's pretty easy to forget to put it in the "lock" position. It would be better if it automatically locked once the chair clicked into a position. Multiple times I found the chair set up but unlocked. It just seems a little bit over-designed. The other negative about the lock system is that it's very intriguing to toddler hands. The first thing my three year old did when he saw the chair was play with the lock. It took several times for me to remind him that it wasn't a safe thing to mess with before he finally got bored of it.Overall, this is a beautiful, cozy bouncer chair. It feels and looks really high-end and would fit with any decor. My baby seems like prefer it over other bouncy chairs for comfort but the locking/unlocking/folding process is a bit of a drawback for me. I'd still recommend this to a friend and am excited for my daughter to use it through toddlerhood. When I'm done, I'll pass it to my sisters.

And I think that’s where the real win is. My daughter feels much more secure in the bouncer and I think she feels that way as well. The extra cushion and head support keeps her just slightly more reclined, which has been helpful after feedings to reduce the amount of spit up due to reflux.I couldn’t find in the included instructions the weight limit for the infant insert but for reference my daughter is 5 weeks and about 11 pounds in the photos and fits comfortably. I’m thinking in another pound or so we’ll need to remove it though. The material is soft and feels quite lux and the added benefit of being able to remove it to wash is very handy (especially for the babies who spit up a lot).We haven’t used the other settings yet but it’s simple to adjust and move from room to room. The base is slightly more bulky than some other bouncers but it’s worth it for the extra plush seat and frame. We’re often using this at meal times so the adults can actually eat together- the Evolve sits on the floor next to the table, easily bounced with my foot to keep baby happy!I can see us using this for many more months and it’s great that it can grow with her to toddlerhood (my husband has also requested one in adult size!).
The Ergobaby 3-in-1 Bouncer is really quite innovative, I have never had one quite like it and seeing as I have 5 kids I have definitely used my fair share. Unlike most baby products, it is already assembled straight out of the box so all I had to do was slide it out of the packaging. Right out of the box, it has the newborn insert in place which was perfect as my little one could still use it when we first received this item. I have transitioned from having him in his bassinet and carry cot to having him in he bouncer while I work. In fact, as I am writing this review he is bouncing in the bouncer right next to me. It is really convenient and easy to adjust the bouncer to different positions- you just step on a pedal and move the bouncer. You can also lock the pedal to prevent anyone from accidentally adjusting it (like my 2-year old tried to do a few times). Speaking of my 2-year old, he loved getting to try the bouncer in the toddler seat mode and I love that it grows with my kiddos to be used for such a longer length of time.The material is soft, stylish, and easy to clean. If I could sum up this bouncer in one word, it would be convenient. Everything about it is so much easier than it has been in any other bouncer I've ever used before. On top of that, it has made my like more convenient. I can shower while he sits in the bouncer just outside the bathtub and he is happy and content for the entire time. I don't know how we did things without it.I like to leave it out because it adds a bit of modern look to my home, but if you do need to fold it up it is very compact. Figuring out how to fold it can be a bit tricky the first time, but if you pull the little latch on the side and then step on the pedal, it goes completely flat. To keep the infant insert from flopping around, just buckle the clips shut and you are golden! I wish you could lock it in place when it was folded up, but that's not a big deal.The only reason I took away a star is because it is a bit of a bummed for those of us with bigger kiddos since the weight limit is only 20lbs when not in the toddler mode. I want to use this thing forever but I maybe have a month left I can use it until my son can sit unassisted and use it as a toddler seat. First things first: this bouncer is gorgeous. If you're looking for a bouncer that your little one loves AND a bouncer that looks great in your house then I would highly recommend the Evolve.My son was 3 months old when we received this and it is perfect for his current size after removing the newborn insert. The newborn insert removes easily- it just slides off of the harness in the front. The harness itself is really secure. I appreciate that it has buckles instead of buttons or velcro. He's pretty big for his age- 24 inches long and around 14-15 lbs- but he definitely has room to grow into it. He is an ACTIVE little guy and he can get a good bounce going but never to the point where it seems like he'll topple over. The base of the bouncer is pretty wide and seems like it can handle a lot. It's also very easy to adjust to different positions. You simply unlock it with a switch on the back, push down on the lever, and it slides up or down to your desired position.I haven't tried to wash the cover yet but it looks like it will come off of the base pretty easily. It was super easy to set up and I was able to figure out how to adjust within a few minutes. I did wish the item came with a more detailed instruction manual on how to adjust and fold the bouncer. I love how sturdy this bouncer feels and looks compared to an existing bouncer I already owned. I also love the intuitive lock button for the height adjustment (switching from green to red). The biggest selling point of the Evolve bouncer to me is the newborn insert. Even thought I have a large newborn (10lbs!), I love the newborn insert that kept them snug and not flopping around in the seat. The one downside I see to the buckle clasps is that my 19 month old is currently really into buckle clasps and zippers etc. I can totally seem them playing with the clasps while my newborn is in the bouncer, so I will probably cannot let my toddler roam around the bouncer while the baby is in it. I also set up the bouncer as a toddler seat and it was easy for them to get in and out of the seat on their own. My toddler just doesn't like to sit still, so they weren't super interested in sitting in the bouncer. If I was in the market for a bouncer today as a FTM, I would probably pick the Evolve based on the newborn insert alone. It makes the bouncer useable right from day 1, which is huge in my opinion because I couldn't use my existing bouncer with my oldest for a while since they were much smaller as a newborn. And we never take our bouncer out of our house, so the fact that it's more sturdy is a plus for me.
