This was really intimidating to me at first. There is a lot of fabric. When my dd was a month old, I was forced to learn who to wrap because we had our first flight together and I was flying alone. Once I figured it out, this wrap saved me so many times at home and in public. It made nursing while grocery shopping so much easier. No more having to juggle a nursing baby and push a cart at the same time. It was truly a life saver. I was sad when she got to be about 20ish pounds because she got a bit heavy in it, but I switched her over to a SSC at that point. You won't regret buying this though. Makes for excellent baby snuggles!

This product saved my life for the first few months. My baby wanted to be held 24/7 and I couldn’t eat, keep the house in order, do anything. Everyone says “do it while baby is napping” - yeah those people have never had a new baby because they will literally only sleep in your arms. They could be passed out and you try to carefully put them in the bassinet and all of a sudden they’re screaming. They just need to be close to their mother in those early days and this makes it possible while keeping your arms free for doing things to keep yourself alive such as eating! So I would recommend to every new mom to have some sort of carrier, especially if you have other children that also require your attention!

I bought this with my 3rd child because she hated EVERY other carrier we owned. I know it is a pain to learn to wrap it up, but it was so worth it. My baby was only comfortable on me for the first few months, and this carrier did the trick until she grew out of it. If you have a baby who wants to be on mama or a kid with acid reflux (both were the case with my daughter), they will love it and it will give you some sanity back. It also makes new born babies feel like they are back in the womb. I just went to visit my cousin and after they had their second kid. I wore the baby in the wrap the entire time to give mama a break. Their precious little girl was happy as a clam, and I was able to help her mama do things. Before I left mama was happily wearing her sweet girl.

I contacted the company for advice on which wrap to purchase and they was very helpful. Received the sling next day. After a few goes me and partner and sussed how to use the sling as we have a tiny baby I wouldn’t recommend using until the required weight. Very comfortable to wear once established for you and your baby. I choose this design so me and my husband can both wear it and also for potential future children. Found using YouTube helpful as a tutorial.
The material is a nice long stretchy fabric, only takes a few times to get the hang of it. I'm a size 16 and it is long enough for me, but there isn't much extra fabric. Downsides: it really isn't functional. If you want to use it for example at the store, you need to tie it on before you leave and just leave it on. That may not sound too bad to you, but it is HOT. My baby and I both cook in this. The fabric is so long (same with all wraps) that a lot of it is on the ground when you are wrapping it on. It isn't exactly easy to get baby in and out of, which probably gets easier with more practice. Maybe wraps just aren't for me, I prefer the convenience of being able to quickly strap my baby to me in a carrier much cooler, and quickly remove baby and carrier. I have ... I have used this with my 2 week old 7lb baby for the past 2 days, I am returning it tomorrow for a Ergobaby Original Carrier and insert. Quality fabric, just inconvenient concept. Especially to a busy mother of 3!
I received the wrap when my second baby was about 3 months old. By that point I already had several wraps and carriers. I consider the yoga pant material ideal for babies 6 months and younger. It is less stretchy than a moby wrap and keeps it's shape much better. I used the moby up to 3 months-old and this one up to 5-6 months-old. I own a few woven wraps, but I liked this one better for the younger babies since it has the little bit of stretch. I feel like it hugs them in close. With the wovens, you have to get it exactly just the right amount of tension in all the right places, and the ergo wrap is more forgiving. Plus you can take baby in and out. Sizewise: I'm petite, 5'2" and thin, and it was pretty long on me. I tied it around my waist an extra time. I don't ... MoreI received the wrap when my second baby was about 3 months old. I don't know the exact length, but it's definitely longer than my size 6 wraps. Bonus: I loved how it folded up on itself and packed into the pocket. There is also a handle for carrying.
Bought this for baby #3 and so happy I did! After watching the instructional video on YouTube and practicing a couple times I find it easy to put on and easy to take baby in and out of without any help. I've worn it around my house to instantly calm my baby, been able to do get things done around the house while he comfortably sleeps in the wrap, I've used it for taking walks around my neighborhood and going for as long as 2 hour hikes in the woods, I've used it grocery shopping....I got lots of use out of it on our family vacation (my son was 6 or 7 weeks old at the time), he was in the wrap as we walked the beach, went into town, and even while we ate at restaurants with no complaints from him whatsoever! And it was comfortable to wear for extended periods of time which I liked! He's now almost 4 months old and still likes to be in the wrap! Best purchase I've made for him! Especially with 2 other children at home, having free hands comes in very handy! Baby was born in the summer and never found it to be too hot for either of us.
I received this wrap as a baby shower gift and I am more and more thankful for it every day. It has been THE best way to carry around our new little lady from the very beginning. She absolutely loves it too. It is perfect for just getting things done in and around the house, calming her when she's fussy and it is a miracle for grocery trips. Even when we're getting close to feeding time I can get quickly in and out of the store without complaint. The cloth may initially seem like a lot to manage but once you get the hang of the tie it's easy as pie. The pocket is handy for a burp rag and other small essentials- I have noticed the seem pull slightly at the top of the pocket but it's no big deal and does not affect the integrity. The actual fabric is great and the "give" allows you to adjust slightly without redoing the entire wrap. It goes everywhere with us, we use it every day and I highly recommend it.
I was really excited about this wrap and ultimately I really dislike it. I’ve tried and tried again to adjust or wrap tighter and still baby slides down and my lower back ends up hurting worse than when I was pregnant. It says in the Q and A that the wrap is for petite and plus size. I’m not plus size and I’m uncomfortable with how little fabric is left to tie. Definitely do NOT recommend this wrap. Going back to my original (should have stuck with it) boba wrap that held my much bigger son securely without sliding down. My baby currently weighs 8lbs… this shouldn’t be happening.
Have been using this wrap for a couple months now and my baby girl loves it. She’s only 3 months old and I can tell I’m going to need a new position here soon for her! But for the newborn stage it works super well.
