This is our second ergobaby. My husband has the 360 one and I have this one, that way we're not constantly changing the size of the straps and I also wanted one that was a little more compact and feel less bulky. This is a lot slimmer and more comfortable for me to wear. I love the color. I'm able to put it on and off easily. We love to wear our daughter everywhere and she doesn't seem to mind as well. She'll sometimes fall asleep. I also feel like this one makes us sweat less which is nice and it's pretty soft. The back support on it feels great as well. Hoping to use this on our next baby.

I have wraps, slings, and multiple soft structured carriers and this one take the cake! Lightweight, stretchy, breathable… I had a little learning curve with the front facing but now my baby loves every carry option! She’s 6 months and almost 22lbs and I use this literally every day to ease my back pain! The pocket on the back support is such a nice touch too! My only complaint is that I wish the shoulder straps tightened in the direction of the original ergo so the tension was pulled against my shoulder instead of the baby. I’m 5’4” my husband is 6’1” and it fits us both nicely!

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for in an SSC! I was given this baby carrier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I’ve been babywearing for the past 7 years and have tried 10+ carriers from SSCs to wraps and ring slings so I’ve become pretty particular. I also have the Ergobaby Omni 360, Original and 360 and the Aerloom is by far my favorite of them all.First, the knit fabric is fantastic! It’s very breathable and will be great during my hot AZ summer weather. I love that this fabric is eco-friendly and appreciate that the packaging is as well. This fabric seems more durable and less likely to fade than my other black Ergobaby carriers. I love how light and thin the construction is, especially in the shoulder straps and waistband. It folds down nice and compact, easily fitting in my already full diaper bag.The zippered pocket on the waist strap is a nice size, fitting my phone and card case. I find it very easy to adjust the seat to carry my baby facing out; it’s much easier than on other carriers. We just used this for my daughter’s first time playing in the snow. She was very comfortable and I was able to quickly adjust it back to face her inward when she needed a cuddle to warm up. It’s also very easy to adjust the shoulder straps for nursing on the go.The only con to this carrier is that I do miss having a sunshade, mainly because when my daughter falls asleep during a back carry she could use the extra support. I usually put her on my back for hikes or household chores and she often falls asleep quickly. But overall, it is worth losing that feature for the how lightweight this carrier is.All in all, my favorite feature is how light and minimal this carrier feels when wearing it. It’s far lighter and more comfortable to wear than any other SSCs that I have. It is very thoughtfully designed and is my new go-to carrier.

Love the material of this. Lighter weight and not too stiff. The 360 felt way too stiff and heavy for me. I wish it came up a little higher for better head/neck support in my newborn but thinking it will be ok moving forward. The color was not quite what I was expecting. It looked more white in the pics online with more muted colors- I wanted a little more neutral. It’s actually quite neon in person. Don’t think I would’ve picked this one had I known that, but it’s still cute. I find it easy to get on and off which is great. Some carriers are overly complicated.
I really wanted to love this carrier. I’ve read the reviews and I am surprised that only one review has mentioned that baby’s body is against the waist band in every position. I find it not best for the baby as babies would be more comfortable with their bodies against parents bodies. Also a hood would be nice. And I can’t figure out how to wear this carrier comfortably for my back. I used to have another Ergo and that one was more comfortable for my back
I purchased a carrier for use with my second baby. It is absolutely incredible. Both my husband and I love it. It is worth every penny. If you’re looking for some thing in between a super-structured carrier and a soft wrap this is the right one for you. I have used slings, fabric wraps and very structured carriers and found this is the best fit for us. The fabric wraps always felt really difficult to get on but I didn’t like the feel of the overly structured carriers. I have a lile baby that is way too padded for me. I also love how breathable this is and I don’t worry about my newborn getting enough airflow.
I want to start by sharing that my baby loves being in wraps and carriers which isn’t always the case for some babies. I started my search for an upgrade after my baby outgrew the babybjorn mini. I love the Aerloom carrier because of its simple set up and design. I love the black pearl color that almost has a brown hue to it - goes with many outfits! The material is not scratchy on me or my baby and he loves being in it. I have not experienced any shoulder pain with this carrier at all! I also love that it doesn’t look or feel bulky!
I went back and forth for a looooong time on what carrier to get next now that our LO is outgrowing his Ergo embrace. I wanted something that was relatively lightweight/cool but still had enough support for longer carries. I finally went ahead when I saw this carrier on sale, this definitely fits the bill so far and the colors are gorgeous! My husband and I are both able to carry easily/very comfortably with a little adjustment, and our LO seems comfy. A couple downsides, that may improve with practice or potentially softening up with use, are the stiffness of the shoulder straps making it difficult to get them on in the correct orientation (can be hard to ensure/fix when inside out) and it's a bit difficult to really cinch in the waistband or get the waistband high ... One downside of this style for us was the lack of sun shade, but we just use his sun hat.
Wow, this carrier was a game changer for me and my 11 month old daughter! I have been using a older model baby carrier that has many of the same features as the Ergobaby Aerloom Baby Carrier but the simplicity and support of the Aerloom carrier is superior to any other carrier I have seen. I have been wearing my daughter since she was a newborn and she never acted uncomfortable when I started using the Aerloom carrier. The carrier is made out of a soft, strong, lightweight cotton knit material that washes well in a normal washer. It is not nearly as bulky as many of the multi-positioning carriers on the market but yet still provides all the functionality. I was able to wear it under my coat easily to keep my daughter extra warm when we went on snowy walks as well. I ... MoreWow, this carrier was a game changer for me and my 11 month old daughter! My favorite things about this carrier are that it is made with high quality materials, it has multiple positions you can carry your baby in, and it has a simple and classy design. I have gotten soo many compliments on it from other moms when I wear it to the park. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby carrier!
Once unboxed my first thought was "Wow! It's so compact and modern looking." I love how there's no extra frills or clips - less dangling straps. It's a great looking black speckled color, light breathable and soft knit fabric. The appearance is very chic. I also have the Ergobaby Omni 360 and I prefer the Aerloom for the reasons above. It stores less bulky and does the job equally well.My baby was happier and appeared to be more comfortable in the Aerloom. Baby's chin cleared the top of the carrier without rubbing. I felt she was well secured. There is less cushion and padding in this so it can get a bit sore if baby wearing for a long time. I haven't worn the baby for more than 30 minutes at a time so it wasn't an issue. Also I believe it's a good trade off to ... MoreOnce unboxed my first thought was "Wow! Strapping in the baby is pretty standard like other carriers. Baby can be carried front-facing and rear-facing on both the parent's chest and back! For reference, the baby pictured here is approx 18 pounds. While eco-friendly material is personally not a must-have priority for me, I can appreciate companies and products that promote these. Overall, this is the carrier that has all the necessities - stylish (for mom and dad), soft, breathable knit fabric, lightweight, compact storage, simple and straightforward.I was given this baby carrier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
