Great value. Compared to any cartridge based ink jet it comes with $300 worth of savings on ink. And time savings moving scans to emails. Scan resolution holds up so the fourth round of edited documents still legible. Regular printing, copying very good. Photos and graphics very pleasing. And compact. Easy set up as well. Covers home and professional office needs well up to 8 1/2 by 14. Very pleased with vale, convenience and quality of output.

This is a middle of the range printer that works well unless you want high quality colour printing. The colours are definitely more muted than previous copiers I’ve used but for everyday printing it’s fine. It’s very easy to set up and so far, it’s used a tiny amount of ink and has a huge reservoir for each colour which is a bonus. The paper feed works well and instructions on the screen at the front are clear (it is a small screen though). The scanner part is less easy to set up but I did it with a bit of trial and error. Overall it’s a good option but lacks the quality to tip into into an excellent buy hence the 4 stars.

My 4-year-old OfficeJet Pro 8728 was breaking down and the cost of repair was excessive. Also it was costing me a fortune in ink even buying from third parties. When I bought it the 8728 offered the best value for money for the functionality I needed for my home office but that was clearly only a short-term viewThe Epson ET-4850 provides all the functionality I had with the HP printer except for duplex scanning a feature I rarely used anyway. And of course it uses low-cost refillable ink and even came with a double quantity of black ink in the box. The price of the printer was reasonable compared to other refillable brands.I have other Epson printers and they have served me well over many years I expect the ET4850 to do likewise.

I needed a small, efficient, economical moveable printer for a SMALL place in my SMALL office; one that was easy to load - both paper and ink. The Epson Eco Tank ET-4850 Wireless Color All-in-ONE Cartridge Printer fit the bill. It was easy to install (I'm 75 years old), set up and operate. My older printer weighed 38lbs. Wi-Fi capabilities are very dependable (my laptop is in another room.) It makes great copies, scans and prints quickly. It is very classy looking. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I am happy with the printer. Glad that I can cut down on ink cartridges. I haven’t used it too much as of yet, it is for my child’s homeschool and I hope to save a lot on ink having to print many pages of paperwork and resources. My other child will also start homeschooling this year as well. I purchased the printer, since it came an highly recommend by other homeschool parents. The only issue I have is the printer is very noisy compared to any other printers I have purchased.
The printer is fine. It prints as it should. It copies well. The screen is small so it is easy to enter things you did not want to enter. I am waiting to see how well the ink lasts. Filling the ink tanks was very easy and not a drop of ink spilled. Getting the printer and my computer to speak to each other was difficult. I gave up. I had another person, a super computer programmer, take on the task. He got it to work but said he did not know what he did to get it to work. I haven't been able to get it to print anything from my phone either. I am sure eventually I will get it all figured out. Printing from my phone was hit and miss with my previous printer as well. I needed to be able to send faxes. That limits choices. I was tired of paying so much for ink.
I bought this on the recommendation of my brother he waxed lyrical about how easy it was to setup and I agree with one caveat it struggled to connect to my WifI from the iOS Epson Smart Panel App.As I was going to be using this using my PC I really didn t care that much.Using the Software Disc supplied brother didn t get that interesting I installed the software on my PC then used the printer LCD panel to setup the WiFi no issues at all. I then deleted and reinstalled the Smart Panel App and all was good.Printed a page or 6 from eBay then scanned 2 of the pages using the ADF slightly askew but that might have been in my loading then printed them on double sided brilliant.Everything just seems to happen. What is brilliant is the loading of the inks no mess no ... Great inkjet printer, huge ink reservoirs with plenty of ink for the first fill straight out of the box. A gamechanger if you've been using laser or cartridge inkjet printers. I'll never go back to cartridge ink or laser printers ever again. For speediest printing, use the single sided print option. Happily this unit and the replacement ink is NOT made in China.
Most of the reviews on this printer are bribery reviews meaning they are fake. Epson sends out free printers and gets people to leave positive reviews in hopes they receive further positive reviews. I am real small business owner working from home. If it wasn't for the ink tank thing this is a $119.99 printer. They charge $500 because with ink tank they need to make their money on the printer whereas it used to be they made their money on the ink. The scanner on this printer is terrible. Its slow, misses pages on almost every scan, and jams a high percentage of the time. I will return this thing ASAP.
Two retired people really do not need top notch printing. We just need something that works and this fills the bill. The window screen is a little small and bigger hands might have to use their “buckle”, LOL. We really like this for our needs. Light business and correspondence. We probably printing something every day! The color and print c/b darker/brighter but like I said it works for us! Not dealing with expensive cartridges and we love how the ink fills. We’ve only been using for a week but have really given it a workout. I use the iPad Pro and it works just fine. I downloaded the Epson App. Works very smooth for the set up. Actually used Ethernet hook-up. And Wifi works great. Smaller footprint than my HP Pro. Really like it. You can adjust sound if you do not ... The printed sheets actually do not fall into a tray but slides and overhangs the tray. I haven’t copied anything more than 3 pages yet so interesting change. Did not take long at all to set-up. Was flawless.
