My 6 year old is on a medication that causes appetite decrease, and it’s hard to get him to eat through out the day. We’ve been looking for something that he likes and will actually look forward to and that’s got the things he needs. We’ve tried all the brands of children protein shakes and he’s hated them all. Then we found Ensure Plus(approved by his pediatrician). We’ve only tried the vanilla but he LOVES them! There is no fight to get him to drink them, there’s a lot of calories and protein in them which either A, helps if he didn’t eat much breakfast before school, and B gives him that overall boost of protein and calories for his day. Just bought a big box from Costco! Edit to add: the Ensure Plus we have is 16g of protein and 350 calories!

It is so good we would drink it even if it wasn’t supporting our health. My elderly parents drink at least twice a day to stay strong to fight cancer while maintaining a strong healthy immune system. I also drink it every day 1-3 times for the taste and the protein and vitamins. We go through a lot of it and the only problem is not being able to get a consistent supply at the same price. The price has become outrageous and when not available from a reputable company that charges the high but average price of the mid 40’s the secondary sellers try to price gauge by buying it for the regular price just to try and resell it at an inflated unreasonable price. Excellent meal replacement if necessary

Love everything about ensure. I’m a paraplegic and can no longer eat regular meals without feeling sick, so I replace them with ensure plus. One eight ounce bottle satisfies my appetite and I feel great until next meal. It also gives me the nutrients I need like protein which I need to heal any medical issues. I also lost so much weight I looked sick, with the ensure alone I’m able to regain my normal weight and maintain it. Last but surely not least it tastes amazing, so good I have to stop myself from drinking them back to back and finishing the box in one day. It will definitely cause someone if not careful to get overweight from too many calories as well it would cost a fortune to go through them that fast

Grandma’s favorite drink!!

My grandma has been raving about these chocolate Ensure drinks for the past couple of months! She has always been quite thin but has recently only eaten one meal each day. She never feels like eating unless it’s a mocha frappe from the yellow arches so I thought I would try her out on one of these since they are way healthier. She absolutely loves them! She drinks one a day on top of her one meal so I at least feel a little better that she is drinking a nutritious drink (since the only other liquid that goes down her is soda :| ). These are definitely worth it to try for your elderly relatives who just don’t eat enough!

If Your Looking to Gain Weight Read This!

I wanted to gain weight and when I tell you this and the gym started fighting back at my metabolism. I fasted and lost 20 pounds, dropped to 106 and could not get that weight back especially with playing a sport %26 conditioning. I swear nothing else was working and I can’t eat a lot consistently. I’m now 130 which my goal was 125. The taste is a plus too like I would drink these on the regular honestly. This is the only ensure I drink and couldn’t find this quantity with an acceptable price. This is honestly like my fourth purchase I should be on a monthly plan at this point.

After all this product is promoted as "Healthy Nutrition". Why corrupt it with excessive sugar and unhealthy Seed Oils? ABBOTT LABS can afford to up their game when it comes to these crucial ingredients. I’ve struggled for years with gaining weight and these are the only thing I have found that works. I’ve gained almost 7 pounds in about two months and for someone who never could gain weight, that is a lot! I also eat three meals a day, (small breakfast normally) and snack often. I usually drink one of these in between lunch and breakfast or before bed. They can be a little pricey if you drink two a day, so I stick to one. I haven’t drank a flavor I didn’t like. My favorite is between chocolate and vanilla. They really help you gain weight! And provide great nutrients. I recommend completely.

I do believe I have tried the vast majority of nutritional shakes, ranging from those that focus on more protein with low or no sugar, to the instant breakfast or 'boost' types that stray on the sweeter, yet low fat end of the spectrum.As someone who struggles with adrenal deficiency, I have sought many solutions in my quest to supplement to my diet to maintain/put on healthy weight.I have to admit that Ensure still kills the copycats for taste every time. Albeit, Wal-Mart's "Equate" version of this beverage does come in a close second. Both brands have increased in price significantly over the last 3 years, with Equate stealing the show in the Best Value category.
