I purchased this product over 24 months ago. I rent and at each inspection(6 months-Vic) I get asked "how do keep the shower and tiles in your house so clean" - when given the reply the inspectors are shocked..... I'l be needing some more soon, even though the treatment still works a treat. I used it on my car windscreen as well. Before treatment, my wiper would pick up dirt and squeak. I put new wipers on the car after the treatment, and they glide so effortlessly, (even dry). I reapply a treatment every 12 months, and when on a road trip interstate (Vic to QLD) I never thought about it till I got to my destination. The usual insect-stained windscreen was not a problem. And the two marks on the surface were wiped away effortlessly!!

Was told I’d have to replace the glass due to hard water “etching” from years of well water and mineral deposits. Nothing (even acid) worked to clear the cloudiness of the door. This was 1/20th the price so I gave it a shot. Long story short, glass looks brand new. The glass company is concerned about losing business to the product now. Try it but DO WHAT THE DIRECTIONS TELL YOU. You’ll be happy you did. Be patient as each step takes a bit of work.

We have very hard water and cleaning our glass shower doors is always a battle. I ordered the small kit and have had it for awhile, hesitant to use it. I was pleasantly surprised, the pre-treatment and supplies made quick work of the hard water buildup and the treatment was very easy to apply. Very happy with the result.

Our en-suite shower screen is almost 5 years old and although we wipe the screen each day with a microfiber cloth after showering, I noticed that in places there appeared some cloudiness. I bought Enduro Shield to make the cleaning and maintenance of the screen easier. The thorough cleaning of the screen was probably the hardest part of the job as you endeavour to get it perfectly clean. The application of the coating was simple and very easy. I left the screens to cure for 12 hours and the results are just fantastic. All cloudiness gone, shower glass sparkling and just like new. The water just runs off, a quick wipe and perfection. Thank you for great Australian product.
I recently applied Enduro shield Glass and Enduro Shield Chrome/Stainless Steel to shower doors, kitchen appliances, and chrome bathroom and kitchen plumbing fittings. It's alot easier to apply to new products than to used products - with the latter, it's crucial to clean like you've never cleaned before because whatever smudges or discolorations that you miss will be visible after the EnduroShield is applied. With new surfaces, there's much less work involved in preparation. Having said that, the effort to clean is well worth it. The stainless steel/chrome product works even better than the glass product IMHO. My only complaint is that the product is quite expensive.
Application went very well. Steel wool and pre-cleaner did a great job prepping. Removed the vinyl door sweep and it cleaned that area as well. After 9 years, it needed cleaning, once I knew it was removable.
Applied the Enduroshield to the glass walls and door of a 7 year old shower. It had not had any previous glass treatment since installation. It had a mild - moderate degree of permanent soap scum etching. I applied 2 coats as suggested for older glass. The treatment has made the etching a lot less noticeable, cleans very well and does a reasonable job of beading/repelling the water on the surface (though not to the degree in the demo video). I must admit I don't bother wiping or squeegeeing the shower after every use so it doesn't maintain that just cleaned look! I don't expect it to look like it is new glass but it is a good compromise to freshen up the shower.
When I first found this product I was hesitant in purchasing it because it just sounded and looked to good to be true but WOW WOW WOW this is by far and away the best product I have ever used for cleaning glass. I used to clean our shower screen with cleaning vinegar and used to take ages but with EnduroShield it took me half the time. It's the best we have seen our shower screen look in ages. Highly recommend any one looking to buy this product you won't be disappointed. Well done EnduroShield.
I applied the diy kit to a week old shower screen. Even after a week there was a tiny bit of lime build up so I lightly used the steel wool. I think surface prep is everything! Spent maybe an hour prepping and 10min applying. We're now maybe 6 Weeks in and has been fantastic. You really should follow the maintenance instructions though. We rinse and squeegee after most showers. The other day the water was beading less and I did a thorough clean with vinegar and a cloth and it's back to 100%. If the lime/soap builds up it will appear worse and be harder to clean, and my guess is any reviews complaining about it “wearing off” aren't maintaining their shower well.Overall seems like a great product. I'll try and review again at 12 months!
This will be the 9th/10th year I have used this product. The last time used, I allowed it to go way over the recommended time and the shower glass got really bad with mineral deposits. Once again, looking forward to at least 3 years of no build up of minerals and great, clear shower glass. This product is easy to use but you MUST follow the instructions.
