The bin is perfect for my needs. I particularly like the bin having two sections, a black container for for non recycling waste and a green container for the recyclable items. I also like the bin having a sensor for opening with an automatic close. I use Tesco brand 35L tall pedal bin liners for the black container they’re an ideal size.

We like this bin. The two different coloured inner bins are easy to lift out and the top has smooth lines and is easy to clean. Against the advice leaflet we used rechargeable batteries which did not work but normal alkali ones work well. It takes 6 AA batteries. The top needs to be removed to lift out the liners and often opens as you do but this isn't a problem.It opens automatically when the sensor on the top is covered and stays open for a reasonable time if you are scraping left-overs into it. For longer operations you can use the open and close buttons.The sample bag given is no better than the Tesco equivalent so we use them.The item is expensive but it's well built so we think we will get a good few years from it compared to previously owned foot operated ... A great garbage can! Stylish, modern and so simple to use. Just a wave over the top and the can gently opens. The LED lights countdown until the can quietly closes. I'm in love with this garbage can. No more lifting a dirty lid anymore or holding it up to empty a plate. Amazing and Ive recoveieveeld tons of compliments.
Recently received this trash can and really like the features of it. It's very modern looking with the silver and black and the motion sensor is a nice touch, especially when your hands are full. It's a nice size, holds a tall kitchen bag. It does require 6 AA batteries so my only thought is how often we will need to change those, but we will see.
The pros:- It looks really nice. It's clean, simple and the stainless doesn't get a lot of fingerprint smudges. The size is perfect for 13 gallon kitchen trashbags.- Works great so far. We've only had it about a week, so I can't speak to battery usage yet. But the sensor only goes off when your hand is near. But works quickly when you do want it to open.The con:- My only issue is that I've changed the bag twice and each time it ripped at the top when removing from the inner rim. They'll need to figure out a way to line it with rubber or some sort of softer surface to stop that.In general, we are happy with it and it looks nicer in the kitchen than our old plastic one.
Good quality bin, stylish it works great. I've had a few cheaper bins that have all broken,this one whilst more expensive seems more robust.
Great design, capacity, functionality, convenience, and quality. Slim fit in our small kitchen. No touch operation perfect for us as elderly and less able users. Brilliant !Hope it lasts longer and than our previous two pedal bins. Thank you 🙏
Extremely well packaged in two thick cardboard boxes. Electronic opening means waste disposal is more hygienic. There are two bins inside the unit which are lightweight with notches on each side so they can be pulled out easily. They can take any size bag which can be pulled through a whole in the bin if they are too big.
I was really nervous to have a motion sensor trash can I was worried it would be loud when opening/closing. That is not the case at all, you can barely even hear when it opens up. It is very user friendly, even my 4 year old will now throw stuff away. I love that it doesn't show fingerprints and the feature that can leave the top open while you throw multiple things away is really nice. It is fairly sensitive, my husband walked by it one morning and it opened up. It is a nice sleek, clean design that I have no problems displaying in my kitchen!
