I am thrilled with this leather oil! I had never heard of this brand until a Verhan saddler told me about it. It soaks into dry leather in no time and really restores it! Depending on the condition of the leather it may take several applications to achieve the desired result. Effax is the only brand of leather cleaners / conditioners I will buy. And this stuff smells amazing! For those who don't know - the white stuff in the firs two pics is not mold. Its fats that rise to the surface when the leather is dry.

I love this oil, it makes my saddle soft. Applied once every other ish month works best for me, and is so incredibly satisfying to put on my saddle.

The oil brush detached from the lid and got lost in the oil after 3 uses.
A fellow barn mom recommended this to me ... our new show bridle was still very stiff after a few uses and I wanted to soften it up. This was easy to apply with the little brush attached to the lid and the bridle has already started to get softer after one application. This can will also probably last a lifetime! You don't need to use a lot to see results.
When I originally bought this product I was skeptical due to the lack of reviews. However, I can say wholeheartedly that this is the best leather oil I've ever used. I use it on my saddle, bridle, martingale, sometimes even my boots, and it makes all of them look great. The brush applicator is something that I never knew I needed, you can either put product onto your sponge or apply directly to the leather. I typically use a rag to buff out the leather and ensure that the product is evenly distributed, and it leaves the leather feeling soft and hydrated. Super convenient and smells great! I loved this oil so much that I went back and bought more effax products.
really excellent leather softener for new leather. recommended to me by a bridle maker as kinder to leather than neatsfoot. It did a great job without making the leather too soft and weak. would not use anything else now.
