Duralex Picardie Tumbler 220ml Set of 6

These are great, sturdy looking glasses. Tumblers. I like that, French Bistro, look of them. I wanted a smaller size glass, as l have the larger ones. They bounce well, as l knocked one off my kitchen counter. It bounced, onto my ceramic tiled floor. Phew Straight back into my hand, almost. That says a lot. They are big enough for most drinks. If you dont want to get your special glasses out. If they do break they shatter into rounded pieces. Not pointed shards of glass. I think that the dishwasher will eventually dull them. They are not overly expensive. So they will serve you well. It puts me in mind of school dinners. Ours were good They are called water glasses forget that Open a bottle of wine.

If there is a such thing as the perfect glass, it's the Picardie Duralex. I have them in several sizes, they are both utilitarian and classy. They look great for every day use, and on special occasions paired with vintage colored glassware, the Picardie blends perfectly on the table.

These 130ml glasses are ideal size for a double espresso shot. A little small to use for cafe latte, so really a 'piccolo' size. These are good to have when you're in lockdown because you can tell yourself that you are at a a cafe, they kinda have that look about them. Otherwise they work around the house just fine. Seem OK both upstairs AND downstairs. Have tried them outdoors without any hassles. Can't say how they perform for alcoholic beverages, I assume they would be fine.

These glasses are awesome. They are big enough to hold a decent amount of fluid and they are tough. I bought some similar about 20 years ago and so happy I could find these decent sized glasses. They were packed really well for transport and arrived quickly

These glasses have proved to be the most resilient and good looking ones I've ever purchased. They have the right balance of aesthetic appeal and quality craftmanship that I need for everyday use. I have had mine for around 10 years and they still look good. I use them for water, wine, whiskey on the rocks and hot beverages like lattes since they can withstand most temperatures. They are dishwasher safe and have become my go-to gift for my friends.

Love these glasses. Always keen to get my kids on to normal materials and off the plastic stuff ASAP but after my son randomly took a bite out of a standard tumbler I thought I would toughen up on my choices. I did find a chip in one today. Not sure if it arrived like that or hes had another go Only joking, these take a lot of knocks and Im glad I got them. Theyve been ace. This particular size is v small bigger than a shot glass but not much. Great for little ones but not adults. Unless you like big shots of course.

Expensive but green!

I love these green Duralex glasses, but wonder why are they so much more expensive than the blue or clear ones? Also I was hoping they would be the slightly larger capacity ones 320ml - I did measure the capacity of the size I like but clearly got it wrong! Delivery was made swiftly and the glasses were very well packaged, so am very pleased overall.

Favorite glasses

I love the Picardie glasses. I love that they are durable, easy to hold and stackable. They don't scratch easily because one of the sets I ordered had a broken on in the middle. (shipping gorillas because they were well packed) The glass was in many pieces but no sharp shard, more like when safety glass breaks. Anyway some of the glass was even dust it was so fine. I thought maybe some of the other glasses would have scratches, but no, they all looked just fine.Another thing I love about these glasses is that they don't hold water on the bottom when they are washed in the dishwasher. I have had glasses and especially mugs that I must hand dry from the dishwasher because the bottoms are not flat and water doesn't drain. Great for cafe latte

Best size for a single/ double shot cafe latte. Wide mouth section is best for latte art. Thin glass feels awesome when sipping coffee. I bought 4 boxes of these and gifted to one of my friends and kept 3 boxes for myself. Highly recommended.

It's Like Art!

Strange story...but, first, these glasses are beautiful! I bought them because I've always liked bistro-style glasses. They are pretty durable--until I broke one...and this is where the STRANGE STORY begins: I was hand washing the glass when it slipped from my hand and fallen to the ground. I wanted to be upset about it, but the broken glass was just as beautiful as the glass itself.
