I am so happy with this tape gun. The foam on the handle is soft and makes gripping easy for my arthritic hands. It feels really good in my hand. I like how easy it is to thread the tape under the bottom roller and start taping. The teeth guard for the blade is especially nice, as I no longer have to worry about a blade nicking other things while in storage. I also like that the tape gun came with two rolls of tape. The tape is strong and sticks to cardboard boxes well. Plus, if I accidentally stick the tape to itself, I can still pull it apart. Another nice feature is the tightening bolt, but I did not need to use it. I recommend this quality well made product to others.

Lots more, since I am getting ready to move.Fred Meyer did not have any more of the HD Easy Start, so I bought 4 rolls of the Duck HD Tan tape they had in stock.IT WAS TERRIBLE.It was very hard to get off the roll - had to unroll it manually, and then apply to the package. The foam grip is nice and comfortable (and functional so that it is non slip). The blade to cut is sharp and cuts well. The tape itself is durable and sticks well. For me it was not such a big problem, as I have used a very similar tool in the past. For someone using one for the first time I think it could be confusing. I have always just purchased the flimsy scotch dispensers which have worked fine, but this Duck dispenser is so much more comfortable to use with the foam handle. I noticed right away that this tape is stronger than the scotch ‘heavy duty’ shipping tape. It has a very sharp blade making it easy to tear, smooth operation (does not get stuck). Our son works at a hardware store, uses tape dispensers every day and says this is the best one he has tried….One thing that could be improved would be to include instructions. It is not difficult but spent a long time figuring out how to thread the tape through properly.
