The perfect compact size beverage carbonation system! This product does exactly what it says it will do. Extra bottles were purchased so that there is always flavored water available in the refrigerator. This is an excellent way to stay hydrated.

We exclusively use this to make carbonated water. We bought extra bottles to fill with water and put it in the fridge to grab when we need to use one. Less carbonation is needed when you start with cold water.It works as advertised and we are definitely satisfied. No plugs needed, just the C02 canister at the back to use. It is easy to use, you can read the manual or just watch a video online on how to use it. It is compact and takes up little to no space on our counter.

I emailed DrinkMate and they did answer me back expediently. I am very happy with my purchase so far. There is a small learning curve on how much CO2 to inject into the bottle, so you will have to experiment a little if you like a lot of bubbles or not. But, it is much healthier than drinking soda and in the long run can save a ton of money. I already have a Propur filter at home (plug for them as they are AWESOME too), but flat water is boring. I love carbonated water and got tired of wasting money on the cans at the grocery store. I am glad I purchased this Drinkmate machine because it makes great carbonated water. Like the features describe, it is also nice that it is low-profile with no batteries or electrical plug. For example, with some patience, you can turn your favorite wine into a bubbly sparkling wine. Of course by making regular carbonated water (seltzer/"club soda") and finding creative ways to flavor it, the possibilities are almost infinite. To save money on CO2, you can buy a 12 ounce paintball CO2 tank instead of SodaStream style tank, then simply get an adapter for it so that it will fit the machine. When you need a refill, a store that sells paintball supplies will fill it up for you for about $4. I got this as a gift from Drinkmate in exchange for a review. After testing it out a few times, I realized that practice makes perfect. The Omnifizz definitely does an excellent job of carbonating the drinks I chose, as it added an impressive amount of bubbles. I really love the beautiful selection of colors that are offered by Drinkmate. The main reason that I chose the Arctic Blue shade is because it matches the color of my microwave. Not only is the Omnifizz a great asset to my kitchen gadgets, but it is also a perfect addition to my home's interior decor style.
One reason I like Drinkmate is that it's overall design still fits the space our Sodastream dispenser we had to replace. We also like the cap better and the way the bottle slides into the mechanism that infuses the soda, then easily slides out simply by moving the lever forward to disengage the bottle. In addition, the charging cap of the bottle is well built and has a little lever to release the pressure after the soda infusion. All in all, the higher quality is well worth the price.
