Dremel - 120 V Variable Speed High Performance Rotary Tool Kit

Dremel 4000 is a powerful and dependable tool. Mine is teamed up with their flex shaft and a foot pedal sold separately-a powerful setup. I create jewelry with my Dremel, polish, sand, drill gemstone seats. I can set the speed according to the task-wide variation. 8 years and still going strong. Preferred to some pricier jewelers flex shafts.

My guy and our 17 year old just used this to file down my nails. 😂😂😂 I haven’t had a fill in over a month (health reasons) and my nails were driving me bonkers. I was trying to cut them down with nail clippers and I think my level of failure was just too much for the boys to handle. I know that this tool is NOT sold for this purpose, but it is similar to what is used in salons so we gave it a try. Yes, eye protection was worn and no injuries were received. I will be going to the salon as soon as I am able to get them done professionally, but this definitely saved me for now. 🤷🏻‍♀️😆💅🏻 Thank goodness for boys!!! 🤗

Dremels are a great tool with so many uses! However, I wouldn't purchase the battery operated version again as it burned out pretty quickly. I do love the plug-in versions and love all the different bits that can be purchased there's so much you can do with them!

A classic little tool. It is reliable, simple, easy to use, and useful for so many projects. I like the Dremel tool itself, but another reason to go with Dremel is the accessories they put out that other little handheld drills don't offer. I also have the little router table and it is a great addition for some real precision jobs.

It still feels like a dream but it’s actually real. I bumped into this page and saw the recommendation by the group admin and also some community reviews also testifying they are 100% legal, I had to give XAP a trial on blind fate hoping whatever came out of this I'll just accept it . An awesome, rugged tool

Though I never owned a rotary tool before, I decided it was time, and I wanted the Dremel brand, but one that would last for years to come! I did some research, and liked the reviews of the 4000 series, and I wanted one of the kits, that had more attachments, and accessories, and the Dremel 4000 4/36 kit, fit my needs perfectly! I also purchased a flex shaft, in order to do more delicate work! I love the variable speed switch, which is separate switch from the on/off switch, which makes it easier to change speeds, without turning the tool off! I would recommend this to anyone, who demands power, and durability, plus it's endless versatility, to do a multitude of projects!

Dremel 4000 Rotary Tool Set

This Dremel 4000 is even better then I expected for working on lapidary and sterling projects! The capabilities are endless, and using a flex shaft makes even more versatile. I can't stress enough how much I love this product! Making jewelry pieces, polishing cabs, it does everything I need. It came with a circle cutter and some other polishing and cutting tools, and excepts everything Dremel makes. Highly recommended to anyone working on such projects!

I was Sent used broken equipment

I paid full price for this Dremmel and was sent a USED and BROKEN DREMMEL instead! WHAT'S GOING ON WAL-MART? OBVIOUSLY, YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS OR The condition of YOUR PRODUCTS YOUR SELLING ANYMORE??? This was needed for a JOB and that JOB is not going to happen with the junk I was sent and paid top dollar for!when I opened the box containing my BRAND NEW DREMMEL 4300 it was instantly obvious this was NOT a brand new Dremmel. Super disappointing.

Versatile tool

I bought this particular model largely because of the selection of attachments and the range of speeds for various materials. I have relatively small hands and wish this was a tad smaller around. I've owned a Dremel in the past so I'm familiar with the function but experienced a mishap with the straight edge collar that went too deep. Pay particular attention to tightness of attachments. If you think it's tight enough, double-check it by making sure it really is as tight as possible to avoid the problem I had. Otherwise, it's a great tool.

Worthwhile Purchase

I have used rotary tools like this in the past but was not sure how the 1.6 Amp model would fare as opposed to the 1.8 Amp model. I was concerned that it might not have enough torque or a high enough rotational speed to do difficult jobs like cutting metal or hard wood, or grinding down a rough metal surface. I still haven't used the 1.8 Amp model, but I can say the 1.6 Amp model is sufficient for using the reinforced cutting wheels to trim off hardened polymer and slice notches in steel, as well as being able to grind down any metal spurs left over from cutting metal piping.
