I love this pen. It’s the perfect size and well balanced. I used my new pen for a couple of weeks and bought another one in a different color. Definitely recommend it!
The feel is great, the smooth texture and weight are really nice. The twist mechanism is positive and almost fidget worthy. My only dings are, no pocket clip option and the ball skips a bit, (I’m not sure yet if it’s the paper or the pen). All things considered I don’t regret the purchase.
Fantastic selection of colours (I want them all!), the powder pink I went for is just as it appears on the photos. The pen has a lovely weight to it, and it writes beautifully, so smoothly. It is disappointing that there isn’t a leuchtturm pen clip available, this feels like such an oversight. Not everyone buys a pen to keep in a leuchtturm notebook pen loop. Luckily I found a clip that fits by a different pen brand. It doesn’t match sadly, but it does at least fits and keeps my pen safe. Leuchtturm please make a pen clip available for your pens!

This review pertains to both the Drehgriffel red and black gel pens. I have tried many different gel refills and generally am not a fan. I wanted to try the Drehgriffel pen and ordered the gel version, not knowing that there is also a ballpoint version. I'm happy that I did. I love these pens. The size and weight are perfect for me. The pens are very comfortable to write with, even for extended periods. I especially like the gel refills. These are the best gel refills I have ever used. Ink flow is excellent and there is just enough feedback for my style of writing. I now carry one of these pens with me all the time.
