Size was way too big, boots are very heavy and clunky as well, moreso than other boots--and I've been wearing boots for work most days for 10+ years, so I don't think my expectations are unreasonable... People say you have to break these in, but these boots seemed like they'd take far too long. The color is also a bit dull, not really as leatherlike as I'd expected. I ordered a pair of Dr Martens chelsea boots in my size from this website. I wore these boots for a few hours and I am shocked with the cuts they have given me. These boots have rubbed against my skin so badly that I now have deep blisters at the bottom of my legs that are extremely painful. I already have a pair of the regular Dr Marten boots and have never had a problem with them - in fact, I have found them very comfortable which is why I thought I would treat myself to another design. I am really unhappy with this purchase and would like to know what can be done to treat the cuts that I have received and how I can prevent this from happening again.

They haven’t been broken in yet, but are still very comfortable! They are so beautiful and well made! There was a small black blemish/smudge on the yellow heel tab, but I’m hoping it will come out when I attempt to clean it. I don’t think it’s something anyone else would notice without me pointing it out to them, so not really a huge deal. Still love them. So happy with all the vegan options! That’s exactly why I chose Dr. Martens.

Love love love these boots!!! Super cute and comfortable. So happy they have a vegan Chelsea boot! Can be dressed up or down. Love how they’re slim fitting so it looks good going up the ankle. The sizing however was a little difficult for me. I’m normally a 6.5 in women’s but for boots and heels I generally order a 7 in women’s depending on the brand. The 7 in these boots were a little big for me. Felt very roomy and like my foot was moving around too much when i was walking. So i tried to size down to a 6 but with my high instep i could not get my foot in! So an associate said to try the thickest soles to fill some space and it worked great! Took a little bit of time to break them in but once they were i didn’t want to take them off!
These are really great shoes and they're quite durable. The only issue that I had personally is that even though they are marketed as being softer leather, they are still quite difficult to break in even after a few weeks of regular use where I was still left with blisters. But from having worn many Doc Martens in the past, it just takes time.
I recently purchased the Dr Martens Vegan 2976 Chelsea boots and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The fit is true to size, which was a relief as I've had trouble finding the right size in the past. This pair were comfortable straight out of the box. The material is flexible, I am super impressed with the quality, they're sleek, and I love the rub-off finish.
I’m really happy with my vegan Chelsea boots. They look as great on my feet as they did in the pictures on the website. There was limited choice for vegan boots but I wanted Chelsea boots anyway and was happy with my selection. It would have been even better if faux fur vegan boots were a possibility. The boots are sturdy as ever and look gorgeous but the material is quite firm and although the shoe part of the boot is very comfortable, around the ankle is really firm and needs wearing in to soften it.
I work three jobs, i needed something that wouldnt fall apart after 6months and wereNon slip and would protect my foot from hot coffee spills and such and finally i have found the perfect match! These are legit! Incredibly well made, only took 6days of 12hr shifts each day to break them in. And now i have the perfect shoe that i know will last! And the best part is they are VEGAN!!!! Very pleasantly surprised with these Vegan boots. The leather ones I wanted were out of stock so decided to try these and so far so good. I have the soft leather lace ups in a size 5 and fit fine so ordered these in a size 5. They do come up a bit smaller but already easing after a few wears. Well done Dr Martins you’d never know they weren’t leather
I sized down- normally a 9, got an 8 and these fit perfectly. They aren’t that hard to get on & off bc of the pull tab, but sometimes my socks get stuck. Just a reminder that this pair is Vegan Leather. That’s stated in the details but I missed it. They’re so perfect though that I kept them anyway.
