I've bought other fragrances of Dr Bronner's soaps before, and all were wonderful and true to the scent they were supposed to be. I've had green tea-scented castile soap from other sources, and it was a light, delightful scent.This Green Tea soap is just awful. It smells like partially decomposed vegetable scraps. I can't think what I'll do with several bottles of the stuff. I don't want ANYTHING I wash with it to smell like rotting vegetables! Hope I can get the company to do something about this - maybe something went awry in the manufacturing process to produce the nasty scent.

Citrus scent is Fresh!I have used for at least 10 years in a Foaming Hand Soap dispenser.Not only great for hand washing, but also any hard surface. Foam it on, depending on what cleaning, just wipe it off from outer rim of item or stain.It has worked on everything I've used it on/for!With sincere thanks to Dr. Bronner's!

I’m a dyed-in-the-wool lavender fan (and of course the original peppermint), but now I love this “flavor,” too! I especially like using it in my kitchen foaming soap dispenser; the scent just seems appropriate there. Also, I have really sensitive skin, plus eczema on my hands; I’m usually hesitant to try new fragrances, even from essential oils. The citrus soap doesn’t irritate my skin or cause my eczema to flare up. And did I mention how great the fragrance is? :)

I’m so happy I stumbled upon this scent. Initially not knowing it was seasonal. I actually purchased a bottle on Amazon because I wanted more. I have been using Dr Bonner’s peppermint soap for the past 15 years but I now have another top one choice. I’m saddened that this is a seasonal scent but I am and will definitely be a lifelong supporter of both scents. I just wish that it was available all year round.
We have used the pure castile liquid soap for years, I think we have tried all the scents and love them all. I have used it for general cleaning, even shampooed my carpet with the citrus one time and the husband loved the scent. But I mainly use it for body wash and occassionaly shampoo. Sometimes I make a runny paste out of it with baking soda for an exfoliating wash. It just has so many uses. I started ordering the gallon jugs about 4 years ago and that has been wonderful. The shipping has never been delayed, even with all the craziness in the supply chain, and the bottles have never leaked or been damaged in any way.
I use this to make foaming hand soap. It is so much better than the hand soap I’ve purchased in stores. It is also much more cost effective. I mix 1 ounce of the liquid soap with approximately 8 ounces of distilled water in a hand soap foaming dispenser. You can adjust the recipe to your liking. No harsh toxic chemicals like in most store bought soaps. I knew when the pandemic began that it was crucial that I find an all natural alternative. I knew my hands would not survive the dryness that those others soaps cause after so many hand washings.

But after reading Lisa’s blog about her eventual hair success with their products I decided to give it another go. Well, let me say, it was so worth it! Softest, curliest hair with just the right volume. I’ll never go back to those old conventional products. I use the citrus liquid to wash (make the suds in my hands first then scrub my scalp in sections), the herbal citrus hair rinse, and my GIY hair serum once out of the shower. The night before I wash, I spray my hair pretty heavily with distilled water then apply the hair crème for an overnight treatment. I love non "perfumy" green & herbal scents . i do love the scent of tea/green tea. This is a little bit different than i expected but for the most part it is good. I am scent sensitive & have anawful time when washing hands in peoples homes or venues that have strong icky smelling soaps. i do love the mildness of the soap . it does not irritate my hands.
Refreshing, energizing, and amazing scent as always. I use Dr. Bronners for EVERYTHING. I had severe skin rashes that doctors could not figure out how to treat. After learning about the chemicals filled in most soap, I decided to switch to Dr. Bronners. My skin has never felt better - completely cured! I’ve tried almost every healthy and gentle soap, but nothing worked like Dr. Bronners. I use it for everything; we have no other soap in my house. After struggling with painful and itchy rashes for 5 years, I will quite literally never use another soap. I even carry small packs of it in my purse for when I’m in the go!
I've been using Dr. Bronner's soaps most of my 71 years of life as part of a vegetarian lifestyle. It's a perfect liquid even when properly diluted and suited to be used for washing almost everything. I like that it uses hemp oil, as that is good for our environment. As a side, my son took it on a camping trip and they didn't have a holy book to read from during prayers so read the perfect phrases on the Dr.Bronner's bottle he brought with him. He seems to have converted someone else to Dr. Bronner's soaps.
