I had (have) a B&D 240v jigsaw. I replaced it with the DeWalt 18v one as i needed to be a long way from a powerpoint. I'm so glad this was the case as the DeWalt one is in a different world to my Black & Decker. (Yes, that's what b&d means in this case.)It made very light work of the job and i've since used it to cut a hole in a Kwila benchtop for a sink. No problem at all.
