Great monitor arm of high quality. Would recommend for most monitors. However, it struggles to hold up my 10kg monitor when fully extended (with the clamp mounted off to the side), as the clamp can’t support the weight, where the arm slightly slants and consequently swivels the monitor in one direction constantly. Works perfectly fine when the clamp is positioned in the middle of my desk, but is a shame as it looks better fully extended off to one side, being out of the way.

Recently purchased the heavy duty monitor arm for my 49” curved monitor. Spoke to your staff prior to purchase, your team were very courteous and indicated although the monitor was well under weight (9.3kg) without the stand due to the curvature of the monitor they could not directly recommend it. This is because the centre of moment of the monitor is approximately 50mm forward of the mount placing pressure on the main mounting knuckle. I did the calculation and decided to proceed. Firstly, the monitor arm is extremely well made, could not fault it. With the monitor attached I had to, in fact loosen the main arm resistance slightly. It works very well and has cleared my desk space significantly. Could not be happier. Thank you desky for a great product. Ian

Easy to put together and adjust (checkout their youtube video prior to setup), but unlike other reviews it is unable to hold my 49" Samsung Curve screen without tilting downward. I used a lot of force to try and tighten the joint further, even taking it off the arm and using my bodyweight, but to no avail. Note: This is completely my fault as they state the max width of the heavy duty arm is 43" so it's still 5 stars from me, particularly with a quick response from customer support. Sadly I'll have to find a different arm to do the job for this monitor!

This is a great edition to my desk to clear my workstation from clutter. Having a 34UW screen from Msi, there are two things you need you check. First - is your monitor heavy enough? Mine wasnt so i added kmart ankle weights to ‘hold’ the tension down. Not big deal here, $10 fix. Definitely check how heavy your monitor is beforehand. Not a product problem, but an end user issue. Second - check that your monitor can fit DIRECTLY to the mount. Mine did not, but the monitor itself came with adaptors that allowed it to be used. This is because it only fit the 75 and not the 100. Again, check the reviews of YOUR MONITOR before purchasing this product. This is a monitor problem. Quality and price wise, this is a great edition to any desk, and beats a lot of the other arms ... I've been looking at getting a monitor arm for my Dell U4320Q for a while. I've never purchased anything from Desky before, but the reviews looked positive. Delivery was super fast and well communicated. The monitor arm feels very sturdy and well made. The cable management in the lower part of the monitor arm is a bit fiddly, but functional. Installation was a breeze as I just followed along with the video from the website. I did it by myself, but would probably recommend 2 people for the actual mounting of the monitor. I'm enjoying the extra space on my desk after getting rid of my monitor stand.
This monitor arm exceeded my expectations. I thought my tv/ monitor would be too heavy but boy did it prove me wrong. It doesnt sag or drop and moving it around in different positions is a breeze. I went with desky because the arm looked alot nicer to others arms with a more sleek design and excellent cable managment features. If you have an LG c2 42 tv/monitor this is a must buy!!
I usually never write reviews even if my experience is poor but for this one I felt compelled to. I have purchased desky products in the past and all have been great. This monitor arm would not pivot downwards and was almost impossible to mount my monitor arm. When I contacted customer service I was told that because my monitor arm didn't meet the weight limit 20 lbs instead of the recommended 22 lbs that this was categorized as a "change of mind" policy return and as such would be charged a return shipping fee ($50) basically 1/3 the price of the monitor. I've had this monitor arm for less than a day and feel cheated out of my hard earned money. Buyer beware and make sure your monitor is compatible prior to purchasing or you'll end up with a "rental fee."
I’ve used the Desky Heavy Duty Single Monitor Arm with a 43” monitor. Even with the weight at 13kg, the arm does an amazing job at allowing me to easily move my screen around. I had to purchase a 200x200 VESA adapter to allow me to mount my screen. But that was a quick and easy process too. Defenitly recommend this monitor arm, especially at this price point too.
Bought this Desky Heavy Duty Single Monitor Arm to mount my 49" Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 monitor. Was initially sent an incorrect VESA mounting plate in the box (see photo) that was incompatible. Amelia at Desky customer support was very helpful and sent through a replacement VESA mounting plate which was correct this time. Please make sure if you purchase this arm that you are sent the correct VESA mounting plate which has a down arrow to slide on the back. Installation of the monitor arm was simple with the only real struggle being mounting the heavy 49" monitor itself. The monitor tilt needs to be really tightened in order to prevent the drooping. I recommend using a sturdier and longer Allen key other than the one provided to really get the grip to tighten. ... I am very happy with the build. But the monitor arm does require a HEAVY monitor. The monitor I have was too heavy for my original arm and not heavy enough for this one. Only get this if you have a large/very heavy monitor. If your monitor is 5 to 10kg this might not be right for you. I could barely bend it without a monitor on it. That aside. It's easy to assemble and great build quality. I ended up using it on my second monitor that is verticals so the height was perfect.
