This device is great for tech minded & capable users. With the app you can switch it on & make a coffee from a menu of choices. You can also create your own unique coffee. Want more water, less water, more or less beans, more or less milk? You can do this on the machine as well & over ride pre-defined recipes. I have been using for over 7 months and while initially hesitant, I'm now confident in recommending this. My only gripes are: 1. It doesn't have a milk frother attachment for making a hot froth manually. The auto frother makes a lukewarm froth 2. You can't schedule it to power on so it's ready to go when ur getting ready for work. I keep ours off for power saving.

Pros: DeLonghi have produced a bean to cup machine that is good looking, modern in design, fits under the cupboards and should look great in any kitchen. It arrived just in time for a family event and the general opinion was that âThe machine makes drinks as good as you buy in coffee shopsâ. It makes all the usual coffees you can buy and you have full control over quantity, strength, froth etc. Not tried making any milk based drinks yet but have no reason to assume these would not also be perfect. Have been using semi-skimmed milk and this froths up nicely. The froth control is neatly positioned right on top of the milk container so easily adjusted without going into menus each time. You can stop adding the hot milk anytime during the process.Set up and control is relatively straight forward. The instructions could be a little clearer for people new to bean to cup machines. The instructions for filling the bean container are not clear and have arrows pointing in the wrong place. Obvious to experienced users but not so for 1st timers. The on screen menus are really easy and intuitive and require no previous experience of these machines to understand. After a short period you will be familiar enough to make your own creations! The machine only heats the water you need, so no wasted energy unlike boiling a kettle where there is always water left over. The coffee is dispensed fairly hot (not tepid like you sometimes get) especially if you add hot milk. If you fancy a cup of tea for a change put a tea bag in the cup and press hot water. Simple. You also have the ability to save your profile so that the machine remembers what you like and makes the drink you have programmed so you do not have to check that the settings have not been changed by other users.Bluetooth connectivity is a feature of this coffee maker. Download the app to your phone and connect to your coffee maker and you can order your coffee from your living room! Absolute breeze even if you are not technically minded it really is simple. Bluetooth does not get the cup out of the cupboard though and you still have to put it under the spout! All the warnings such as no milk, or no water etc. appear on the phone. The techies will love it.The machine will switch itself off after a period of time but takes only seconds to become ready to use. It will clean the spout each time it is switched on but only uses a small amount of water for this. Place a cup underneath or let the water go into the ample sized drip tray. The milk dispenser prompts you to clean after each use but you can ignore this if you want to and do it when you will not be using it for while. This cleaning is fully automatic. Turn the dial to clean and a small amount of water cleans the spout for you. Once again, this dispenses into the drip tray or cup. The milk container is simple to remove from the machine and place in the fridge to keep fresh. We live in a hard water area and have programmed the machine for this. DeLonghi have included a water tester to determine your water hardness. Not sure as to how long the water tank filter will last but these are readily available or may consider using filtered water to fill the container. The machine will let us know when the filter needs changing so will decide then. You do not need to fit the filter so if you live in a soft water area you can tell the machine there is no filter fitted. The grounds are produced into disc shaped tablets so are a breeze to tip out of the container when prompted to do so. I bought the Dinamica Plus over the standard Dinamica because I valued how customisable the machine was using the app. The app doesn't work on andriod devices, it loses the machine then asks to for a wifi connection. if by chance you get the app to load you can't customise your drink at all. The only reason I paid extra for the Plus was so I could fully customise my coffee selections. The machine is great makes a good coffee with lots if options but you can't customise via the machine as much as you can via the app. Would be an awesome product if they got the app working properly. If you're going to create an app that communicates with a device make sure it works on all platforms including andriod.
Pros: I love the automatic cleaning and the screen instructions to tell me what to do. I also love being able to edit the recipes via the app. And of course the proper barista style coffee. Cons: Connection between the machine and the smartphone app is clunky. I have to select the coffee machine every time and there seems to be a data transfer even when nothing has updated which is unnecessary. It should work like blue-tooth headphones where you pair the device once and it connects automatically when opening the app afterwards whenever the machine is in range. Frustratingly, sometimes the app won't update a new coffee recipe I create but it won't tell me why, it just doesn't do it. Better error messaging is needed.
Pros: What an upgrade this is, in both speed and quality. We have always used QualitĂ Rossa and Pellini N°9 Cremoso coffee beans when making our coffee and the whole process would take us at least 15 mins in the morning; grinding the beans in a separate small grinder and making coffee on the stove using Italian coffee maker. Espresso takes under 30 seconds and is so creamy. The stove coffee maker has never produced such quality coffee. We usually add a dash of cream to our coffee. However, the cappuccino, wow! Using almond milk, when frothed, it is so light and creamy. Quality of a drink you get at a coffee shop. We are really pleased with the machine. Easy to refill the beans, clean (love the self-cleaning feature) and of course the speed of making a coffeeâŠor ... MorePros: What an upgrade this is, in both speed and quality. Easy to refill the beans, clean (love the self-cleaning feature) and of course the speed of making a coffeeâŠor two.It may take a few attempts to get âyour perfect blendâ with the different settings; Grind, Bean strength/aroma, liquid content and type (Dopia and Cappuccino are my personal favourites) all saved under different profiles. Itâs been total complements when people visit. Cons: Sometimes the beans need a bit of a jiggle as they get stuck despite the grinder being pretty much full. For me the largest disappointment was the Coffee Link App. Itâs kind of pointless, let me explain. When using the machine, it will flush through first. So, letâs say you set the machine up with your cup the night before or before leaving for the day, wake up/on your way home and use the app to make your coffee. The flush/cleanse cycle would also be included in your cup of coffee. I would like to see the app incorporate a time function with the option to switch of the flush as part of the setup.
Pros: What is there not to like about the Dinamica plus ECAM37X.95 ! Its smooth elegant appearance coupled with itâs powerhouse components provide a smooth, delicious coffee with ease and sophistication easily comparable and far superior to most I have received in professional establishments both in the UK and abroad. One of its attractions is that although it is compact it has a tremendous variety of applications which will encompass most personal taste variations required. There are a considerable amount of videos on you tube providing a complete A-Z walkthrough of functions, which illustrate how easy this machine is to master, and there are various lengthy reviews available outlining its technical aspects and functionality. To keep this machine in immaculate ... MorePros: What is there not to like about the Dinamica plus ECAM37X.95 ! This machine has it all. Itâs heavy. Itâs very heavy, which is proportionate to its demanding workload, but not an item to be easily moved once in position. It has stunning visual impact with its muted grey and black, contrasted by the chrome trimmings. This product is elevated far above its peers by its dynamic appearance and capabilities. It falls into the category of elite and easily differentiated between the lower end competitive products. The instructions are quite extensive but similar to most technical electronic products and easily mastered with repetitive usage. Its memory retention capability is an added bonus which allows your specific personalised taste, coupled with two additional personal profiles to be duplicated exactly as originally specified. The incredible number of varieties of coffee and sizes which it is able to make is phenomenal for such a compact machine, each one giving a professionally made taste. The automatic internal self -cleaning system is a great asset as this reduced the time and effort required. It even has an energy saving programme.Ease of use? ... a âlearning curveâ journey, during which you become more proficient as time evolves.Taste quality? ... I have not tasted coffee comparable to this.Value for money? Definitely. Its phenomenal capabilities, coupled with its obviously apparent quality and craftsmanship exudes confident reliability.Recommendation? ...absolutely, without hesitation. The purpose of buying this machine is to have the ability to make a coffee which is totally satisfying and perfect to your particular taste. I have had previously purchased coffee/cappuccino makers which do the same on a much lesser level, but I have not tasted coffee comparable to this unless being bought in a restaurant or professional establishment. To have the ability to replicate their high quality selections in my own home is absolutely worth the price. Never forgetâŠ..â you get what you pay for. âDonât limit yourself...vary your coffee bean purchases and experience a taste of the exotic! This is a stunning addition to any home or business and demands respect. An awesome.....Beast Of A Machine. Cons: This coffee-maker is perfect from my personal individual perspective.
Pros: Amazing machine for any coffee lover I highly recommend this coffee machine to any coffee lover, it has a host of options and detailed instructions but do not let this intimidate you. Out of the box setup of this coffee machine a breeze. Connect the machine to the power, select the language on the touch display, fill the water tank, connect the milk dispenser, add your coffee beans and you are away. I have to say being able to set the strength of your coffee and personalise to your taste takes this machine to the next level, and this is all stored in your own personal profile. There is a whole host of options and drinks that I still have not been able to work my way through, but I fully intend too. The blue tooth functionality is also fantastic, being able to set off your favourite coffee in the morning is superb and all from a mobile app. In terms of design, you will not be disappointed, this coffee machine is a truly quality product and would look the part in any kitchen, my wife commented that it looks like a professional machine, it does has considerable depth to it but looks fantastic all the same. I fully recommend this product, its overall design and attention to detail is superb, you will appreciate how much effort has gone into the design of the Dinamica Plus if and when you have the pleasure of owning one. If you are serious coffee lover, itâs a no brainer. Cons: No bad points, the machine has quite some depth to it but the overall look and quality design makes up for that. It really does look like a professional machine and adds a real sense of quality to our kitchen.
LOVE my new Dinamica Plus. Makes a really lovely coffee no matter what you like, expresso, latte, cappuccino etc. I have been apprehensive to spend a lot on a coffee machine but I'm glad I waited because I wasn't disappointed! If you don't want to be bothered with tampering coffee and frothing your own milk, this is the machine for you. I use oat milk and it had no problems making a lovely froth. Nice and compact so doesn't eat up valuable bench space, nice easy clean, and self cleaning also. Only one negative is the instructions aren't very clear and can't find the app yet, but minor probs compared to the excellent coffee it makes.
We bought this to replace an old Saeco Royale machine, and aside from the additional tech, this machine is inferior in every way. The features are cool, in that you can set up your own coffee preferences under profiles etc, but if you're like me, and most people I imagine, you'll have the same coffee every time, so the 9 other options are redundant. It makes nice tasting coffee, but I have a few issues with it (and this may just be by comparison to my old saeco machine)The water tank is too small, I find myself refilling it all the time. The coffee grounds container is also too small, and you have to empty it very regularly. The largest coffee it will dispense is too small for my personal preference. The hottest temperature is still not hot enough, and you need to ... MoreWe bought this to replace an old Saeco Royale machine, and aside from the additional tech, this machine is inferior in every way. The largest coffee it will dispense is too small for my personal preference. The hottest temperature is still not hot enough, and you need to preheat the cup if you don't want a lukewarm cup of coffee. The cup warmer helps with this, but only if you have time to turn it on and let it warm up for 30 minutes before the first cup.Overall, the machine looks nice and makes decent coffee, but if a 10 year old machine can produce better coffee with a wider selection (albeit less technical) options, there is room for improvement.
