Let's face it, this dual monitor stand is expensive. However, I'm pleased to say you get what you pay for. It works better than my previous clamp on arm style, very sturdy and I get perfect monitor alignment on my desk where other solutions failed. That said, I do have it on a riser (Grovemade), which is what I wanted. Without the shelf, the stand would be too low. Very happy.

The MDS19 dual monitor stand is well build and really sturdy. It supports my two 27" 4K monitors perfectly. I wish the cable management part can be a bit more elegant. The horizontal arm doesn't have a cover to hide the cable. It only has two clips on each side to tuck the cables away hiding behind your monitors.

This is a great monitor stand. I love the idea of the two monitors being mounted at the exact same hight and sharing the same mounting hardware. Although I ended up returning this due to my own ordering of the incorrect product (this stand did not fit the specific monitors I ordered, which was my own fault,) the stand was fabulously made, well packed, and would be the perfect addition to any workspace. I will end up ordering the correct stand for my monitors based on how much I liked this.

I have 2 27 inch monitors mounted on this 1 vertical and 1 horizontal. It makes for a super clean setup. I had to use the included vesa adapters with my brand new dell S series monitors even though it looks like the the monitors should just pop in without them. This makes it not quite as simple as the P series or ultra sharp monitors but still a relatively simple process. The only complaint would be the price. If going back I would have probably just bought the DS or QS monitors with the upgraded stands and would have had similar functionality all be it with a less clean look.
This is a very simple, quick and easy to use dual monitor stand, where it can lock into a Dell monitors without any screws (not sure how it works with other monitors). Just mount the bottom stand, and click in each monitor and off you go. The reason I rated it a 4 was because of the price. There are other options that are cheaper, but require construction (like an erector set), but more than 2/3s less expensive then Dells.
Love the MDS19, it is neat, hides cable clutter and holds two monitors symmetrically. The stand itself is heavy, understandably to hold two monitors with such good stability. Suggested improvement is to increase the angle of the monitors, currently limited to 15Deg. Two 27" monitors at 15Deg angle is still a very wide view so the end extremes are blurry for me - if I had better eyesight it wouldn't be an issue! Another suggested improvement is to increase the height by 12cm - this would give the most flexibility for a setup that compliments good posture. The MDS19 is solid and I wouldn't imagine this change would compromise stability too much. Otherwise I'd have to get a monitor riser on which to place the MDS19 (more clutter, additional weight, additional expense). ...Β MoreLove the MDS19, it is neat, hides cable clutter and holds two monitors symmetrically. Finally, the cost of the MDS19 is significant compared to other dual monitor stands, but it does have a great look and is of excellent quality.
I bought this for my two 27" dell monitors. They both had really great stands, so I thought what could be better. Sadly there are errors with MDS19 that I dont quite understand, as DELLs single stands are superb. 1) It is almost impossible to adjust height. It is so hard to slide, that you have to use both hands in the tight space between the monitor and the stand. The stand is a cantilever, so you have to make sure to hold back with the other fingers in order not to break the stands arm. Almost to hard for my fingers. I have been a carpenter for 17 years. 2) It does not swivel 15 degrees sideways as they write. It swivels 7,5 degrees sideways. 15 degrees are both screens combined. I have been a carpenter for 17 years. 2) It does not swivel 15 degrees sideways as they write. It swivels 7,5 degrees sideways. 15 degrees are both screens combined. This is strange because DELL say the monitor swivels +- 90 degrees horisontaly, and not +-180 degrees as they to combined. It is not nearly enough to make me see both screen ends (maybe Im to close, they are 4 feet end to end), so I have to use one of the screens vertical . I dont understand why they havent added a few more degrees. 7.5degrees is almost a straight line. 3) Now that I have set one vertical, the horisontal swivel retention is too weak. As the screen has an ofset center of gravity, it fall a couple degrees to the side. This makes the horisontal screen follow, as they share the vertical line between. Or what was supposed to be horisontal.. All in all I dont understand this, as the single stands are superb.
The monitor is very easy to assemble and takes a few minutes. I have it holding my newish UltraSharp 24'' wide monitor plus a 2008 UltraSharp 17'' monitor. The both click in. It stated in details it requires monitors 2019 or newer; the 17'' monitor original stand ad three finger connection but it fits the new MDS19 two finger mount. The monitors are stable and the advantage of this mount is there is no slight drop over time. Set the height and it stays there. Perfect for the home office.
Robust design dual stand adds flexibility in movement, but required 3 + 3 vintage volumes stacked side-by-side (Mechanical Motor Engineering :-) to raise to the optimal viewing height, (added an extra five inches)!! I now need to buy a suitable shelf stand, the present height adjustment is temporary. Be careful lifting into place if you do this, combined weight is quite heavy with 2 x 27" monitors mounted. I'm disappointed with Dell lately, their 'form over function' design ethos mirrors the same regression in software design, (removing former functionallity & ease-of-use).
I looked at a lot of different dual monitor stands. I did not want to go with one that would clamp on or drill into my desk. I visited several associates office supply stores and observed what they had and was not impressed by their quality. The MDS19 is by far the most stable and well constructed stand I looked at. I have 2 Dell S2721DGF monitors attached and they are very stable. The base plate is larger than many stands but that adds to stability. The MDS19 also has exceptional wire management. I have enough cables running through it to accommodate 2 computers including USB cables. The MDS19 has also freed up a lot of space on my desk. The only drawback is I feel the arms could use a little more range of motion.
