Dell Chromebook 11 3100 11.6" Touchscreen 2 in 1 Chromebook - HD - 1366 x 768 - Intel Celeron N4020 Dual-Core (2 Core) - 4 GB RAM - 32 GB Flash

I dislike the product, I already had a Chromebook and they used to have features better. It is almost not about to project into another screen. Which why I bought. I had bought several different cables. I feel there is not enough tutorial for dell and it is sad. No tutorial........... at all. and the machine has been a week with me and nothing is working. I am sad

Dell 3100 Chromebook

I purchased the Dell 3100 Chromebook for my eight-year-old son to replace an outdated Chromebook of another manufacturer. The Dell 3100 is proving to be a very capable setup for my son's educational needs both for school and for his own learning adventures. It runs smoothly, quick page loading, has a touch screen, built in camera, and loaded with all sorts of default applications. The Dell 3100 is a win and doesn't cost a whole lot of money. With that, you get Dell's top notch warranty and customer support. Quite frankly, Dell manufacture's top notch gear to meet the budget of any consumer.

Dell Chromebook 3110 2-in-1: A Great Choice for Students Who Need a Portable and Powerful Laptop

The Dell Chromebook 3110 2-in-1 is a great option for students who are looking for a durable, affordable, and portable laptop. It has a long battery life, a MIL-STD 810G tested design, and a powerful processor that can handle basic tasks like web browsing, word processing, and streaming video. If you're looking for a laptop that can withstand the rigors of everyday use, the Dell Chromebook 3110 2-in-1 is a great choice.

Good Chromebook Overall

The Dell 3100 is a good Chromebook overall. They work well and our perfect for students but like everything else there not built like the original Dell 3120 which is still the best Chromebook Dell has ever made. The Dell 3100 works great but occasionally has some trackpad issues that is possible a quality control issue. If you don't run into that then the Chromebook works great. I personally wish Dell would go back to their roots and just bring back the Dell 3120. It has lasted longer, had less issues, easier to repair than all the other models we have purchased since then.

Good device, but annoying display

The Chromebook is easy to use and durable. However, it is not easy to alter all settings. For instance, the screen is way too washed out and is annoyingly overexposed and bright with contrast. There are times I cannot even see the screen. We have tried everything to change this, but cannot. I have googled how to fix it, tried suggestions, and haven't been able to make changes. Other than the display (which is a large part of using a computer), I like my Chromebook.

Great Working Dell

Good working Chromebook most of the time. Not sure if the Chromebook or the OS is causing the Chromebook to go into a deep sleep. The Chromebook either must be reset or sometimes just a refresh turns the Chromebook back on. However, this particular Chromebook is a good fit for out school district. I would recommend Dell Chromebook to any district.

Great budget device for field technicians

Bought 35 of these for my company so far. Usage is for in-home service technicians who have been using ancient, refurbished toughbooks. You can find ruggedized cases & screen protectors for these, which is critical for our company.Price is good, specs are good (if you get the 8GB RAM version). No touch screen 2-in-1 option any more, which sucks a LOT. But still a great value for your money.Able to use Google Play, which is a huge factor. Chromebooks without Google Play are crippled in comparison, IMHO.Hotspot capabilities with Androids is fantastic. Automatic disconnect & reconnection, which is a major improvement from windows hotspot handling.Haven't needed to do any repairs, but there's a complete service manual on this.Mobile device management (MDM) ... MoreBought 35 of these for my company so far. I built our system using Microsoft Endpoint Manager. Google has an iron grip on enterprise management, so we have to buy licenses from Google to manage these (AKA outside of our normal system). Sucks for management purposes & the licenses are double the cost per year compared to Microsoft.P.S. Oh, my mother-in-law loved it too. She managed to brick almost every windows computer she's had, but the chromebook is perfect for her. Simple, easy to reset.

Noisy chromebook

I ordered a Dell 3100 Chromebook off of the Dell website. I already have a Dell Chromebook, but it no longer gets OS updates. New CB was making noises, like you could hear the processor working.Annoying. i told Dell, and they replaced it with a.new one. Same problem. My pesent Dell CB doesnt make those noises. I was going to also return the 2nd new one but it was less than $300, so am holding onto for now. I guess iwll wear headphones or earplugs when using the new one. May buy another brand. Disappointed.

School IT staff thoughts -

Our school has purchased the 3100 since 2019 when it was first released. The original model had a charging port on both the left and right side which was huge! Because the devices went from the round barrel chargers to the USB C charger. The device is durable, as it's with high schoolers who have 1:1 take home and with our students as young as Kindergarten. The devices are easy to repair onsite for those that want to repair on site. The only reason I will not give it 5 stars is the device no longer has a charging port on both the left and right side like the 2019 release devices. We're still buying the 3100s until they shifted to the newer model last year but the newer model basically is the 3100 devices.

Wonderful device. Light weight with heavy weight punch.

Excellent product. Well designed and portable. Speedy and does what it says on the lid. A chromatic instrument that plays like a well tuned harmonica. 5 *****. And it deserves it. Loving the shoe and the polish. Highly recommended.
