The audeze maxwell are the best sounding gaming headset I've ever tried - but I've ALWAYS hated the leather earcups. Too hot, too heavy. If you've ever tried any of the astro a50s - this is like taking the best part of those earpads and putting them on the best sounding set out there. Perfect marriage. And the fit is so quality - it looks completely OEM. Couldn't be happier.

So soft, I wasn't sure if I had put on headphones or placed Parisian cotton candy over my ear-holes

I had issues with the Maxwells comfort in relation to the pads. I tried so many cheaper variants and as a last ditch effort, bought these.Unbelievable quality and comfort. The Maxwell is now so comfortable for me where as before I would have called fairly uncomfortable.Amazing what a decent pair of pads can do. Highly recommended.

For every pair of headphones that I intended for long-term use, I upgraded to a pair of pads made with more endurable materials. These pads made by Dekoni fit well with the headphones. They really did a good job at making the shape and size the same as the original pads. The overall feel is similar to the original too.
Ran cooler than the original ear pads, It’s a shame these are not the stock ones for the headset!
I was having an issue with the clamping force from the Maxwell using the thicker Wicked Cushions. I had misplaced, or probably threw away, the stock ear pads. So I started researching and heard these would fix all my issues.Turns out, the other reviews were spot on! No more hard clamping force and no more having a heat stroke from hours of gaming.Do yourselves a favor and get these ear pads!
