I had been struggling for so long with acne prone skin and nothing would work. I did everything from over the counter products to even going to a professional dermatologist and getting medication prescribed. Nothing worked until I found this sulfur ointment. I applied it the first time on my face overnight and woke up to such a soft skin, there was barely any bumpiness or pimples on my face. I got very emotional as I had been dealing with this for over 7 years and I never thought something as simple as applying this ointment on my face would be the answer to my problems. I highly recommend this product if you have acne. I have been wearing this weekly for 3 months now with no issues but I do recommend that you moisturize your skin properly every time you use this ... I began dealing with hormonal and fungal acne a few months ago, I figured at 22 I was done with my acne phase as a teen but my skin had other plans. I tried everything and anything including benzoyl peroxide face wash, BHA, toners, zinc oxide etc. you name it I probably tried it and had a never ending purge as a result even when sticking with it for a long time. Through searching more about fungal and hormonal acne online I came across lots of mentions and reviews of this product. I highly doubted it would make a difference since products way more expensive didn’t work but I figured what’s the worst that can happen at this point. It may not smell pleasant (sulfur isn’t the best scent) but it has almost entirely cleared my skin in 2 months! I’m mainly dealing with ... I’m mainly dealing with hyperpigmentation and scars now but microneedling and retinol serum along with this product have helped heal them. I use this as a mask for about 10 minutes every day or every other day rinse it off and cleanse with a gentle cleanser then moisturize (really important! Especially if you have sensitive skin the sulfur can make it a little dry) with neutrogena hydroboost and I also use the retinol serum before moisturizing. If you’ve tried everything to no avail and have just taken more hits to your wallet and confidence trying to clear it, please give this product a try! So thankful!

I’ve found this useful on spots and pimples, seems to calm the area a bit and help with the healing. I’ve never noticed any negative skin reaction after using this product which is good as my skin can be quite sensitive and I know this is a rather high concentration of the active ingredients. The smell is a little odd but not too bad, certainly distinct though. The consistency of the ointment is more akin to a cream I think. I just dip a clean q-tip into the package and apply where needed. It’s a little annoying I can’t get this product in a squeeze tube or similar to avoid digging around in the jar but hey- now I’m nitpicking.Great product overall

It smells. Especially when it sits on the skin and oxidizes. You don't want this on your clothes. I had a sulfur mask that smells identical, so I was used to it. I didn't find it effective for the type of acne I had, but I don't have the same skin issues anymore. I keep it in my medicine cabinet just in case the animals have problems with mites. I've heard it works wonders for the little bugs and a little goes a long way. It's a small container size wise, but the price makes sense, and you need maybe a q-tip dot at most. Still not sure how to get the scent out of fabrics.
I used another product for year's for the occasional eruptions, but it was discontinued, stretching the last of what I had as long as I can; then I tried recreating the same thing to no avail. And a lot of work. And searching. Got a trial size of this, and on the occasion it does the trick, dies up the eruption, nips it in the bud so no one knows what trouble they may have seen. I. Only need it occasionally, but it's easy to use and works quickly especial ug applied right away. Mly adolescent child started getting breakouts and Dr prescribed medications, which not only cost more but not confident in so many things I can't even pronounce, let alone know what's in them. So we tried mine and it worked as well, if not better. AND it doesn't smell bad, like the concoctions I came up with. Anyone need a giant tub of sulfur? Because I no longer use it, this does the trick. And it's easy to apply, doesn't bother my nose - or eyes. It doesn't take a lot of you apply it in time (first sign of trouble) and so a little pot should last a while. Unless your teen is using it too! That was an added benefit/surprise - my child finds this agreeable, effective too! And one product (instead of two) so we're both very happy - clearly!
I decided to purchase the small size of this product a while ago because it has great reviews and price as well, just to try it whenever I need it. However, last week I experienced an awful breakouts out of sudden just after using a comedogenic sunblock. Honestly I started to use this product desperately because I couldn’t see any other effective and quick options to get rid of those pimples ASAP. So my way is that I wash my face and make sure it’s clean from any dirt or make up then I apply it over pimples by cotton buds and just leave it as long as I can or sleep with it. After few minutes it may stings as it starts to shrink and dry out the pimples. The quality is super great and effective, I was able to see the improvement and benefit just after 3-4 times. The ... The product has a Vaseline like texture, but a bit more slimy in a way.The mistake I had made when using this product was not reading through the instructions thoroughly, which had resulted in me leaving the product on my face for far longer than I should have.On the tub, there will be a small red tab labelled 'Peel Here', which I would highly recommend for you to read as it states all the necessary information to use this product effectively. It also states step by step instructions on how this ointment should be used.PS: Leaving this ointment on your face for a prolonged period of time (As I had mistakenly done, leaving it on my face overnight) will result in a chemical burn, by which parts of your skin on your face will become burnt and start peeling for ... I had managed to reduce the damaged caused, by placing ice around the damaged areas and applying sudocrem each night which had helped. I would also advice you to apply a good sunscreen with a an SPF of 30+ as contact with the sun on the damaged areas will worsen it.Overall, I have seen this product being beneficial for you skin as long as you use it as instructed. Lastly, I would advice those of you who had used this product to carry out a patch test, before applying it to your face. This can be done by applying a small amount to the back of your hand, and leaving it there for 10 minutes or so to see how your skin reacts. If there is no pain or redness, it should be fine, if there is a burn mark, pain or redness, try to avoid using it.
For reference I am 22, Female with hormonal and fungal acne.I have been using this every other day and leaving it on for 30 mins at a time. Do be careful and make sure to listen to your skin, as it can cause some irritation if left on too long.I have noticed improvement in my Cc's and active pimples and my skin texture is also getting smoother. I can see why there is so much hype about it! Good quality and value for money too. The pot size is small but a little goes a long way.Gentle enough for weekly usage also. My skin can be sensitive, but I haven't had any problems so far.
