I would’ve given this five stars for ease of use, easy install, and design, but once the clips start breaking it becomes utterly useless. Didn’t even think about how much of a design flaw the clips are until they start failing. Will be returning to Bunnings as a defective product.

We bought this today and installed it on cinderblock. It looks great. The line is easy to get tight. It holds two and a half loads from an 8kg front loader. It goes up and down easily. Thanks to the reviews that said buy your own bolts. It saved making two trips to bunnings.

Easy to assemble with the correct equipment. Glad I read other reviews and saw that I need to but the fixing bolts. Plastic line tensioners should be hardened material. one came loose when setting up and I was very careful not to over tighten.

Useful for 1 year only. Useless now. The Daytek plastic line clips are a terrible, production saving design flaw. The lines should go through the frame itself. One clip is snapped; others are on the way out. Just the weight of wet clothes is enough to bend and break them. Not worth my time to dismantle.
Similar experience to all 1-star reviews left on this product. Plastic clips that hold line will break over a year to two year period.
We have had this clothesline for approx two years and I’m very disappointed in the overall quality of it. The plastic parts which hold the clothesline have developed cracks in them with one completely broken away from the frame, leaving the line hanging. The plastic coating on the line has worn leaving the inner fibres exposed.
Same as the others - rubbish , perfectly fine frame, no way to repair. I need a new line and guess what? I will not be buying one of these!
This clothesline was installed on my new build and it’s absolutely shocking. The ‘locking’ mechanism barely works, and if you’re not careful you will get hit in the head with a full load of wet washing as it collapses on you. Don’t bother buying this brand at all.
The plastic clips break. No use having a 25 year warranty on the frame when a basic design flaw with the clips means it will only last a few years at best
Line was great until the brackets that hold the line/rope broke. If you could just replace them like you can the line or sock holder it would be fine…but you can’t so now we have a perfectly fine, functional frame but can’t use it because you can’t hang anything 😡
