I bought these for Dolby Atmos use a couple of weeks ago and placed them on top of a pair of Spektor 6 floor standers. Whilst it marginally improved the sound stage they're definitely in their element placed high on the wall projecting the sound down. Remember to change settings to downward firing. What a huge and all enveloping change, watching Dune on 4K had me flinching on every action scene!! The sound is crystal clear with excellent all round tone. I was dubious about placing them high but now I really am a convert, absolutely fantastic!! Go on you want to don't you? Promise you, you won't be disappointed!! Got here just before Christmas. Was a little mess up on the colour. Would have to have waited another month for the walnut but decided to go with black which is no problem with me. I have excellent cable to use with these which caused a little problem in wiring up. I had to really screw cable wire tight to set to the speakers as can’t use banana plug (always my preferred option) However, after finally getting them set up to my Denon amp blown away by the sound! This is before they have even bedded in. Also surprised by the weight of these speakers. Heavier than expected. Recommend these for atmos speakers to anyone.

Bought these to add to my 5.1 system powered by Denon AV receiver to utilise Dolby Atmos and DTS X. As usual the staff at Norwich gave me the advice I needed and the delivery was quick and easy with DPD. Now installed and set up with Audyssey I tested them with scenes from Top Gun Maverick and Fury, fantastic! the sound is definitely improved and fills the room.

I bought the speakers to add to my existing DALI 5+1 system mostly to listen to the increasing catelogue of Dolby Atmos content on Apple Music. They added more to the overall sound then I expected. The sound field is much richer when the track is Dolby Atmos. Stereo tracks sound great but with these speakers and an atmos track they sound superb.And your staff at Swiss Cottage are just great. The sound blends perfectly and I am unaware the speakers are even there until I switch to a sound mode that excludes them. The big difference they make actually affects the surround channels more than the front. The only negative point is the binding terminals on these are spring with a small hole. I would not recommend going above 1.5mm or 16awg. I would use these for all my surrounds if I had walls in the correct place. I feel I am under-using these as Atmos height speakers, but they handle the job perfectly.
