So far so good. I gave it 4 stars, only because it is louder than any of my other previous Cuisinart coffee brewers. The louder noise is brief though while it is brewing. It’s doable. Not a huge deal, but noticeable. When I first cleaned it to get it started a code kept popping up. There were no instructions on how to address this error code to move forward for use. I found the fix online: press and hold down the hot water and rinse buttons simultaneously. This worked, no more error message and the machine was ready to start making it’s first cup. About 20 cups have been made since the time of this review and it works perfectly! It looks great! I like that this one also has a 12 ounce option too. So far so good. I would buy it again! I always buy Cuisinart. I tried ... MoreSo far so good. I gave it 4 stars, only because it is louder than any of my other previous Cuisinart coffee brewers. I was a huge fan of our 1st Cuisinart single-serve brewer. I thought of it as my pre-dawn coffee partner and it was all but indestructible, lasting many years. But the flashy plastic "chrome" finish on the new one only makes me miss our old, mostly dull aluminum Cuisinart even more. The new one (bought Dec. 2022) superficially resembles the old one, but it has a second hinged lid that is, apparently, a redundant, dubious safety-feature. That 2d lid can't be closed until the main lid is shut first (it takes both hands to do this), otherwise the machine simply refuses to announce "Ready," for warm water especially. Any ideas how to fix? Also, the pump is much noisier than the old one and there's no light to see, pre-dawn, how much water is in the tank. I purchased the Cuisinart Premium Single Serve Brewer to replace a different brand which I was not happy with. I love the fact that I can fill up the water bin and not have to put water in the top of the machine every time I use it to make a cup of coffee. It is very attractive looking and fits in well with my other stainless steel appliances. Makes the coffee very quick and hot. I read about it making loud noises, but mine does not. It just makes your typical brewing noise at first. Great Price at Bed Bath & Beyond with coupon. Fast delivery and it came perfect.

This Cuisinart Single Serve Brewer is the BEST !! In the past I started with a Keurig and it was good... it was a new way of brewing coffee and it made it so simple. After about six months my Keurig died. I bought another Keurig and again it lasted less than a year. I had to find a replacement that would work long term. I came across this Cuisinart model and I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did... it lasted about eight years! Talk about getting your money's worth! I love the options of five different serving sizes... and I use them all for different beverages. The water reserve is huge and I still have to fill it daily! Unfortunately my eight year old unit bit the dust but here i am purchasing another one! Five stars also goes to Macy's and their user ... MoreThis Cuisinart Single Serve Brewer is the BEST !! The coffee maker does make pretty good coffee. The buttons to select the cup size seem backwards. You push the RIGHT button to move the selector LEFT for smaller size. Likewise you push the RIGHT button to go LEFT.Unlike the past few coffee makers there is no light in the water reservoir to see the level. The area where the filter goes is very difficult to clean due to the crannies in the head. The original device actually failed after 5 months. It was replace under warranty once I was able to reach a competent service rep. IT took a bit over one month to get a replacement.
I researched single cup coffee makers for a long time before I decided on this one. I love the Cuisinart brand and your great warranties. The two things I really like about it is the huge water tank and the HomeBarista cup, because I knew we probably wouldn't use K-Cups regularly because they are expensive and create a lot of waste. I was originally going to get a Keurig but read way too many reviews from people saying that they don't last. This machine has a three year warranty and I was sold on that in addition to the other features that I mentioned. Some people have said that it is too noisy or it splatters all over, but I don't find that to be the case. I really like it.
I love the Cuisinart Single Serve SS-10 coffee maker. It is attractive. I have been using this new one for about 3 months. I had my MIL buy my SIL one for Christmas to replace her ailing Keurig. The K-cup holder is easy to remove. The extra reusable coffee filter cup comes with a fine mesh filter and conveniently stores on the side of the maker. The water heats instantly. Since it heats instantly, I turn off the maker because it is usually 30 minutes or longer before I come back for another cup, but I have it programed to turn off in 30 minutes if left on. It is relatively easy to clean. I really wish that the coffee maker could be completely emptied of water. When moving, or away on vacation, the water left within the coffee maker becomes stagnant and should be ... MoreI love the Cuisinart Single Serve SS-10 coffee maker. It is attractive. My husband always leaves greasy finger prints. Yes, his finger prints would still be on any handle, but it is very noticeable on the shiny chrome. Very satisfied with the Cuisinart coffee maker.
Bought the same model about 5 years ago and really like it, but it wasn't always working right. So figured it was time to replace it. Like I said, bought the same model again unaware of all the changes. Some good, some, well, disappointing. The way you open it to insert the k-cup is just stupid. Pretty sure that's the first thing that will break. Why were the size up and down buttons reversed? Again just stupid.Much slower than the old one but,GREAT tasting cup of coffee!Really HOT cup of coffee, the way I like it!Water reservoir much more attractive and sleek. And the whole unit is smaller and more modern looking. All in all, I'm happy with the new one. But I don't like it better.
I've been a loyal Keurig customer for the past 10 years, however, after my last Keurig coffee maker began to experience problems, I decided to try a different brand. After reading several reviews on the Cuisinart Premium Single Serve Brewer, I decided to purchase it. Its been a couple of weeks since I received my new coffee maker .....and I love it. It brews a cup of hot coffee instantly! I love the fact that it has a 3 yr. warranty and opposed to Keurig's 1 yr. warranty. Lucky for me, the coffee maker was on sale which was a substantial savings. All in all, I would highly recommend this coffee maker!!
I've tried multiple Keurig brewers - including the very expensive ones - and they were all awful. Takes too long, coffee too cold, bad flavor/brew. I almost skipped this one because of the reviews stating it "spits" and "spews" as it brews. Well, it does, a little, but so little that I didn't even notice until I remembered people complaining about that and went to look for it. Never noticed any spitting except on the machine itself. Use an 8 oz mug. This machine: makes a great cup of coffee (and I am a coffee lover and hate weak coffee); starts instantly without having to wait to heat up the water (this is major as this is the main reason I bought it - the need for coffee as I'm running out the door); and the coffee is strong (brew at the smallest size of 4oz for ... MoreI've tried multiple Keurig brewers - including the very expensive ones - and they were all awful. Now, it will cool off quicker than a coffee maker with a hot plate - I'd say within 60 seconds for me, as I like it super hot - so drink or get it in your pre-heated thermal thermos/mug ASAP. But I love it when I need the convenience of a quick k-cup. (Otherwise I am a die-hard drip brew fan, with a Bonavita that I love). Had it for 7 months now with the whole family using it multiple times per day, and it continues to work great.
