At 500, this is well worth the price. After researching I went with this one for the high number of reviews it had which averaged out to 4 stars. I almost thought of giving it 4 starts, but it deserves 5 so far. I bought this so I can get some exercise while at work I run my own business and still go in to the office. since at home I can’t manage to do much because I have little ones. I thought about giving it 4 starts because it was heavy and you shouldn’t run safety on it because it’s very narrow and can trip, but 1. Most treadmills are heavy and 2. I bought this to walk while at work, not run. I did see other machines that had 5 star with a few hundred reviews that were about 300-500. I also saw a very nice one that was very wide for you to move around your desk at a whopping 3k, but then figured if I really need to get something across my desk, walking across my treadmill while holding on to my desk may not be the safest option. All signs pointed to this machine and I went ahead and bought a used standing desk converter on offer up. I manage to walk an average of 8,000 steps or 3.6 miles a day @ 2 mph which isn’t too bad for me since I can be on the move at my workplace anyways. An added workout while I do work isn’t a bad thing at all. New slimmer healthier me, here I come.

At my gym, I normally walk at 4.0 miles per hour. I have to walk at 5.2 mph on this machine to feel like its the same pace. I also run at 6.0 mph at the gym but feel like I need to run at 10.2 mph to achieve the same pace on this treadmill. Calories is definitely wrong. I know I usually burn more than 150 calories when I walk or run for 60 minutes. But all this is ok to me. I dont need accurate calorie count or pace. I just need something to keep my body moving. The timer is correct at least! =- Setup: So easy. I opened the box, lifted the handle bar, plugged in the machine and voila.- Price / value: I paid 99 in May 2020 and I noticed the price has gone up slightly. This machine was a good value to me. Slim, sleek and worth the money.- Handle bar: I dont really use it at all. It does come with a smart phone holder, but you can only view your phone in the horizontal / lands.

Instructions are horrible! They are not easy to understand and it took me an hour to get the remote connected to the device.I still have no clue how to get the blue tooth to work. It doesnt have any shocks and if you have a heavy step like my gf.....you will shake your house. So get a yoga mat or some high density foam and put this on it.3. After almost two months it started to squeal.This is where Instructions would have ben nice.The belt was not off center so that wasnt it.Put her on her side undid her screws to get to motor. If the remote is not working well, pop that sucker open and wiggle the battery around. Its not super high end quality so it can get loose and slip off the contacts. Once I re-positioned it, the remote was much better at waking up the treadmill... And its the ONLY way to get the treadmill working.Added a photo of the current state of the treadmill.... It developed a squeak so I took the housing off. I like it because now I have direct access to the belt. Not recommended for people with children or pets that may get caught in it and severely hurt. I spritz it with a little degreaser probably once a week and the squeak disappears.I walk about 3 hours a day at 3.5 speed. which equates to for me about 15-20k steps.So I go and eat pizza and drink beer and dont feel bad about it since Im crushing my steps every week! lol------------------Like most people stuck in the rat race, I work a desk job. Glad to have in home.However, a few snafus folks should be aware.1st -- DO NOT DISCARD PACKING MATERIAL UNTIL YOU CONFIRM MACHINE WORKS...in case of a return, must return with all original packing materials & take this 70 lb machine yourself to post office, fed ex or ups.1) remote did not work after installing batteries - no activation of machine.2) contacted service dept by email -- overseas entity with little direct communication source3) finally found a phone # in LA - and called4) rec'd second remote -- still did not work5) both manual and service recommended download of Gymax appBest option - Gymax app; access with wifi/bluetooth and viola! Manufacturing issue

Great size and look, especially at that price, but unfortunately extremely disappointed with how quickly things went south. Since the first day of setup, it made squeaky noises, which was frustrating but I could live with. Then about 2 weeks later, the off/on button stopped working (not the electronic button on the handle, the physical switch at the base of the treadmill). I haven't even used it a dozen times and this is not something that can be fixed. Upon contacting Walmart, the item can only be refunded and not replaced. This means that if I want to re-order, I have to pay a higher price ($100 higher) because the item is more expensive now. Super disappointed with this purchase and the customer service policy -- its not right to put this all on the customer. A good purchase was looking into treadmills to place in the living room or the basement and found this treadmill that doesn't take up much space and also doesn't look awkward in the living room. It came in a well-organized package, was very secure, and with well-protected foam on the side of the treadmill. Super easy to assemble, did it all alone by myself. One of the features that it has is its foldable space-saving arms, it was a neat feature when looking for space to place it in the living room and when you want to put it away it also has transport wheels which makes it so much easier to move around and with the size of the treadmill, you can basically place them anywhere you would like, for example under the couch or under your bed. The handles located on the left and right of bar/safety handle do not align with the pre-drilled holes for the screws so I wasn’t able to install those items since material is metal, which is fine since the machine has plastic covers to cover void. I purposely bought this specific treadmill for the safety handles fast track to press a speed and the treadmill will get there without pressing a remote button. It appears the speed buttons do not work and I have to just increase or decrease speed based those two buttons :( but thankfully you can keep your finger down and the speed adjusts quickly versus having to press for each increment. I’ll update as I use. Primarily want to use this treadmill for walking under my desk but hope to run a couple times a week.

damaged and not working, do not buy!!

I was so angry I packaged it up without taking any pics, but the box had holes that had pieces falling out. This is the second time I ordered this item, the first fedex came close to deliverying from California tro me near Dallas TX, but instead decided to drive it all the way to Georgia and then it magically said it was in Florida and stayed there. It has now been 2 weeks with no update. This time it showed up as projected in the tracking app, but was trashed. My guess from Fedex. That is just from my experience with Fedex. It could have been damaged at anytime of course.
