COSRX Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser 150ml

I heard so many good things about this by some youtubers who really are into skin care, and it seems everyone loves CosRX products. I bought this to help reduce my pore size. I have tried many, many cleansers, most containing 2% salicylic acid we no problems at all. I can't find a reason as to why this dries my skin out so bad. I am using it once every other day, hoping that my skin will adjust to it, but right now, it feels like it is stripping my skin of all oils, which I would think would be great, sense my skin is so oily. Before using it, I would get several large pimples (not terribly bad, but annoying acne nonetheless) every week, and I would constantly be annoyed by some kind of acne flareup during the week -- but once I started using this cleanser, I haven't gotten any so far! I still get small pimples, but definitely not as many and definitely not the same intensity as before. I believe that using this every morning has definitely contributed to my clearer skin and I highly recommend it. I use around a 1/2 inch long squeeze from the tube and rub it between my fingertips until it foams/lathers up into a nice amount of bubbles and then apply it to my face in swirling circular motions. Unlike most other cleansers I've used, the CosRx Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser does not feel drying after washing it off, my face feels clean, but not stripped. As for the exfoliation part, it is a chemical exfoliation but it is very mild and gentle, not harsh. Ibought one for my friend, but... I'll think I'll keep it for myself! I've listed the products I use daily down below, so y'all can take that into account with my results. Notes: Oily skin; get bad breakouts after eating unhealthily and during menstruation.

I love this cleanser and it is always in my bathroom. Corsx as a whole has a great product line and I haven’t tried one thing from there that I haven’t liked and most importantly they have all worked! This cleanser has a light lemony scent which isn’t over powering at all. I actually really enjoy that! It’s give a great clean on the first wash even with makeup, you don’t even need to double cleanse with this one. And when I do I just use this one twice as it’s not drying at all. A little goes a long way too! A dime size amount will cover your whole face AND neck, anymore than that and you’re using too much. Truly love this stuff and this brand. It’s the best cleanser for my sensitive acne prone skin 🫶🏼

Gradually works but yet to see major change

For some, this may be a bit stripping for the skin but for me it makes my face feel very clean. it has quite a strong tea tree scent but i love this (may bother some). I am yet to see major improvements to my skin as I have only been using this cleanser for 2 months once a day but I have noticed less darkness around my mouth and my nose feels and looks cleaner. some could be worried about the concentration of the salicylic acid but i have been advised that since its super low, its okay for daily use. just make sure your other products are compatible. i think due to the low concentration, the effects arent seen immediately and as potent as if you used a salicylic acid serum. one final thing i love about this product is that a little goes such a long way. Great at Cleansing, A Little Stripping

I have combination skin and it's a little sensitive. Although it is acne prone, so that's why I bought this cleanser. I double cleanse with another oil after a day at work, then wash with this cleanser as the beginning of my night routine. I only use it during the night because of how stripping it is (I need it after a long day). It foams nicely and feels moisturizing during cleansing, but at first it scared me because my skin felt really stripped afterwards! It isn't so stripped my skin feels tight and itchy, but enough to want to apply a good moisturizer afterwards lol. I haven't broke out as much since using this product (although I've been using other products too) and I think it's a good night cleanser when you need to get all the accumulated sunscreen, oil, ... MoreI have combination skin and it's a little sensitive. I wouldn't recommend using it more than twice a day if your skin can handle it, but if your skin is sensitive like mine, just use it once! The bottle is huge, it'll last you a long time, especially if you're like me and only use a little dime sized drop each wash :)

I have sensitive and acne-prone skin and have been using this on the daily for close to a month.I still do get some red painful pimples as well as whiteheads but have recently noticed a net decrease in terms of breakouts.At first, I was nervous that it would dry out and irritate my skin (and therefore cause more breakouts) but the cream formula counterbalances the potential dryness that the salicylic acid can cause very well.The way I use it is I apply it on damp skin and massage my face for at least 30 seconds and then rince it everyday in the evening. good exfoliating cleanser!

really wanted a cleanser with salicylic acid to deep-cleanse my oily, pore-clogged face so I bought this! I use this twice per week at night even though the product says daily since I don't want to over-exfoliate my face. another reason I bought this was bc I have textured skin and I think this cleanser has helped make my skin feel smoother with less texture compared to before using this. I have been using this cleanser since mid-February and no break-outs have happened which im happy about. I also like how using a little amount can lather up so easily! my skin always feels much cleaner afterward. as other reviewers have said, ur skin might feel a bit dry when using this so def use hydrating products after!

very effective product
