I was recommended to purchase CORSAIR - VENGEANCE RGB 32GB (2PK 16GB) 6000MHz DDR5 memory by the Geek Squad technician at the local Best Buy . She told me that for the gaming applications I was playing I need the the speed & stability of the Vengeance RGB memory. She was right! WOW! It has lived up to all my expectations for speed and stability. Plus it lights up and can be controlled by the software that came with my P.C. Tower! It looks really cool. Taking off 2 stars for a fake product title and description. It is not a CL36 module, its CL40, pay attention to the last 2 digits in model number, i missed it somehow.Other than losing a few precious nano seconds of my life due to the fake title and details, and a few $$$ (other brands had better sales at that time) it has been working fine so far, as expected. XMP takes it straight to 6000MHZ without any settings, but latency is 40.My other corsair RAMs has been reliable so far, for 9 years, hope to see the same with this one.
Works well in my Alienware R15. After downgrading the BIOS to 1.0.5 I could enable 5600mhz in AWCC. But after a reboot it upgraded automatically to 1.0.6 so now even though it stayed at 5600 I’ve lost memory OC controls. Not Corsairs fault and I’m happy it stayed overclocked, just some info for others looking at this RAM. The only thing I dislike is the 3.2GB iCue software to change the RGB. I don’t care about the monitoring I just want to change the colors once in a while.
Beautiful RAM memory with great RGB. The RGB is very bright and fits perfectly on my new motherboard with DDR5 slots. There is a small Corsair logo in the middle of the RGB lights just in case you didn't want that on your build. If your RAM doesn't appear on iCue (Corsair's backend software)
I installed one pair of 16GB modules into my Z790 motherboard and they worked dine. Went snd installed the second pair a few days later and had constant crashing overall, games would freeze and I would get the infamous blue screen. I performed a system check on RAM and it immediately failed. I took out the two new RAM modules and everytbing worked fine. It happens… but it still sucks. Need to get these replaced
I bought this particular kit because the one time I deviated away from Corsair, I got bad RAM, unlucky, but I have always had good luck with Corsair and this kit is no different.Beautiful RGB, not that I bought it for that, it's a pretty nice bonus though, and I can run timings at 36-36-36-77. XMP of course also works beautifully.Pro tip: want to control the lighting but don't like RGB bloat? Create a task in task scheduler & use a .bat file to end either iCue or SignalRGB processes when your colors load in
Solid performer. At a decent price for the performance. I think with G.Skill, you can get more performance for the price, but corsair's icue software has been seamless for me in syncing the RAM with my other corsair RGB components (CPU cooler and fans). Corsair icue does control certain gpus too like ASUS. RGB on this ram also looks great and there's a lot of effects.
the piece of plastic that sits over the light??? was broken and it was not sitting on the heatsink properly. causing the corsair software to unsync with it. making me have to restart. i have bought 2 sets of this ram from best buy and both are broken! the second ram kit i got BOOT LOOPS MY COMPUTER! beware when BESTBUY puts stuff on sale! sometimes its just because a product has a lot of returns and had bad Quality control so they discount it to get rid of broken inventory! it must be because so many discounted items ive bought from bestbuy has been broken!
