I have been searching for a moisturizer alternative to the heavy creams Ive been using to be kinder to my skin. I took the Sephora quiz and this was one of the suggestions. Perhaps this just isnt a good moisturizer to be used in the winter, which is what Im hoping, because I really wanted to love this.

I was looking for something to help disguise areas of pigmentation due to age without being artificial looking like foundations are. This is a fabulous product. I use a moisturiser then touch up darker areas with a light coloured airbrush concealer. Leave for a few minutes then dab on and spread out carefully this amazing BB cream. Don't be put off by the grey colour it comes out of the tube as it quickly changes and adapts to a healthy looking colour to tone in with your own skin. It looks natural and feels great. As you only need a tiny amount this tube will last for a long time.

Alright so I discovered this beauty a few years back. Just a run down of my skin type. I am SUPER oily on my tzone. I have dry eyes due to eczema and I’m prone to flaky skin around my nose and my cheeks and eyes. It’s really hard to find a foundation that doesn’t end up caking on my skin. I literally don’t wear foundation now because of this. I am super fair, but I’m Polynesian so I go tan during the summer and this gives you the perfect sun kissed look. It’s SUPER hydrating. I put my concealer on where ever I need it, then this. All with my fingers and it looks like I have nothing on, it’s amazing. You can wear it without concealer too on those “no make up days” - I do both if I’m honest. This product is gray when it comes out of the tube, you rub it to activate the color. I have not been able to successfully rub it and the color show up. I have applied it to my face and it is still a clear/ gray tone, after about 10-20 minutes the color shows up dark and blotchy due to it being unevenly applied since you cannot see where you've already applied the product. I tried mixing this with my sunscreen + moisturizer, 2 parts sunscreen and 1 part bb cream. I applied as evenly as I would my usual moisturizer and it looked fine. I thought I had found a solution to use this product without it being a complete waste of money. I then applied my usual makeup for the day, checked it 2-3 times before leaving, and headed to court. Many have been tried, many have been rejected. This though, its lovely as it doesn't leave your skin greasy so you don't need powder. Equally, I can put on in a morning and it will stay in place without slipping all day with no need for a top up! I love it and have great confidence that when this tube finishes this will be my go to and I will keep stocked up.
